Runs small
I really wanted this sweatshirt to work - I bought 2 sizes L and XL. I usually buy a large top but even the XL is on the small size. I'm keeping the XL but won't dry it. Makes me sad because my husband had to size down because the sweatshirts and polo shirts are so generous.

Nice sweatshirt. Arms were too short.
This was a very well-made, lovely sweatshirt, great color, exactly what I was looking for, except the arms were too short. I got an extra large because I'm tall. Very disappointing because I really liked the sweatshirt overall. Too bad they didn't put an extra couple of inches on the arms. I won't try L.L. Bean again because they run short. I'm better larger sizes are larger in the middle but not in the arms. They assume large people do not mean tall people. What a shame.

Almost perfect but sleeves are cut very slim
This is a very nice quality hoodie. The material is soft, and the color is beautiful. My only complaint is that the sleeves are cut very tight so it’s difficult to wear over a long sleeve t-shirt.

Keeps shrinking
I bought this hoodie sweatshirt two years ago. From the very beginning there was a problem with the sleeves being too small to wear anything under it with long sleeves. I don't have heavy arms, the sleeves are just too skinny. I thought this would be okay since the weather here is mostly warm to hot. But we do have cold weather and this garment has proven to be uncomfortable to wear as a layer. I've washed it several times and every time it shrinks. I'm rather sad about this. Finding a satisfactory plain navy zip-up hoodie used to be so much easier.
