Minnesota Tested and Approved!
I got this in a large and it fits nicely over other layers for extra warmth. I use it for biking and have worn it in zero-degree conditions with below zero windchills. Yes with layers underneath, the point is this jacket stayed flexible and moved with me even in frigid conditions. In the warmer weather I am sure it will be great without multiple layers underneath. For size reference I am 5'10" and a fit/lean 175 pounds. I typically wear a slightly-fitted medium from LL Bean. This jacket in a large with only a cycle jersey underneath feels big, but not too big if that helps for sizing. I recommend getting one size up so you have lots of layering versatility if you live in a climate with wide temp variations throughout the year like Minnesota.

Somewhat disappointed
One of the few disappointing items I have bought from LL Bean. This jacket is not water resistant. I got caught in the rain wearing it and it soaked through immediately. Even my Apple Watch got water in it. Probably best for cooler, dry weather running and cycling. Making it a bit thicker would improve performance.

Helps to be seen
Wanted to be seen. I bought it bigger so i could put it over winter type jackets. It does not provide wind breaking as much, but that was OK with me. Very glad i bought it. Recommended

The Perfect Active Jacket
Light but windproof, water resistant without suffocation, bright and reflective in low-light conditions - this is the perfect jacket. Buy it a size larger and it wraps perfectly around an underlayer.

Fit was a little big for me.
I read other reviews of this item that said the sizing was incorrect, i.e. too small. I found just the opposite. I ordered a medium and find it a bit large. However, that's okay because I intend to put layers on underneath. I wear it primarily when pheasant hunting (orange) when it is cold a pullover or fleece vest underneath is necessary, I would not call it a jacket it is more of a shell, which is okay if temps are in the upper 40's or 50's. Elastic wrist closures would be nice especially if you wear it while cycling. I thought it would be lined based on the description but get along fine the way it is.

Great for running. Fits a little big, but will allow multiple layers when the weather gets cold.

Great for bicycle riding.
Love the highly visible color and fit. Just the right length for when i want a little wind protection while riding bike and takes little space in bike bag.

Light weight, good quality
Nice jacket, good quality. Maybe a hood would make a nice addition to the garment. It seems to be a little overpriced.

A two season jacket (1/2) spring+summer+(1/2)fall.
Finally the weather turned spring/summer like this past week. And this jacket was comfortable & light. It will certainly be a plus as the seasons warms. I would have preferred some other color choices but the “electric blue” was the more tame for me.

Sizing off.
Sizing is way off. I usually fit with room into XL. The XXL was too tight. XXXL fits better. Nice and light. Pockets are a plus.

Great Cycling Jacket
I've ridden 400+ miles since i received my Bean Bright Multisport Jacket. It is perfect to keep the wind off while riding here in Southern Oregon on cool mornings. It layers well over a light thermal layer. I liked it so much I bought my wife one.

Multi-Sport that could use a few more features.
This is a very nice jacket. I chose the HI-VIZ color. For the cost, I was hoping that the jacket would be a little thicker material and that it would have a back (bicycle-like) pocket.

XXXL fits like an XL
Way too small. I purchased an XXXL in the color blue shown above for my husband. It fits more like an XL. We tried on many of your XXXL jackets recently and found them to be too small. We are returning the jacket.

Rain jacket
Love jacket, at 5’8”, sleeves are approximately 2.5” too long and without adjustable cuff closure, length of sleeve is an issue!
The jacket serves purpose well in every other aspect!

Great for cycling
Actually bought 2 of these recently. Wear it as the outermost garment when riding my bike in cold weather. Really appreciate the bright color and the zippered pockets as so many cycling windbreakers don't have pockets. I'm 5'8" 175 Lbs and the medium fits me perfectly over a couple of thermal shirts and a bike jacket. I was recently in a cycling mishap where I got knocked off the bike and my first thought was My jacket! It took some abuse showing the scars of the ride (asphalt scrapes and a couple of holes) so I bought a replacement. Overall I'm pleased with the quality

You won't regret this bright and super-soft top.
This is my second purchase of this jacket. With distracted drivers all over, we need one for both of our locations! It's light, breathable, and very visible. We're still alive, so it works!

Like the visibility.
I bought this jacket for my husband. There are times he rides his bike early in the morning. He hasn't had to wear it yet but I believe it will help his visibility.

NO HOOD??? Why ????
Ok but very surprised NO HOOD !!!
Good reflection zipper pockets extremely light weight . NEEDS A HOOD , please consider a hidden hood !!!! I might be returning this because of no hood .Christmas gift for my husband he probably will not want without a hood but that is all you have. Please consider obtaining one with a HOOD !!! Rains a lot in New England.

Windbreaker
This is a terrific lightweight jacket. I searched for a women's windbreaker style jacket unsuccessfully. This was my solution. My only wish was that it had elastic at the end of the sleeves.

Disappointed
I was hoping it had more warmth than it does. It is basically just a wind breaker and, since it fits loosely, not very good at that.
