Cute and functional gift
Perfect travel tote for my college-aged kids. Sturdy, would hold toiletries, socks, and miscellaneous items for a trip. Will slip easily into luggage or a backpack. I purchased one for an international student this year, and it was fun to give her something from LLBean, since they do not have access to this brand in her country.

Purchased 2 pouches for daughters. Very sturdy and nicely crafted. My only disappointment is the coordination between the lettering color and the color of the pouch. Lettering colors palate should have combo suggestions. I chose slate bag with navy lettering - not fond of it.

Such a cute bag, but....
I really wanted to love this little zipper pouch. It's so cute on the website. When I received it I was disappointed in how cheap it seemed. I love the little gusset bottom and the canvas is thick and nice, stitching is good but the seams inside are raw and it didn't have anything else to offer like extra pockets or holders. There was also a very small rip by the zipper so I ended up returning it. For the price I would expect a bit better.

This canvas bag is everything you would come to expect from the Beaner—structured, affordable, classic. I do wish the little catch hold loop on the side were a little bigger (I understand it’s meant to use a carabiner to clip it to things, but I can barely get my index finger in there.).
