Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up screen house. We have used the screen house for camping twice now. Very easy to set up and take down and works as expected to keep flying insects off you while outside. There is no floor, so if you have those little ankle-biter skeeters you'll want to make sure there are no gaps along the ground for them to fly in. Provides a little bit of shade too. Big enough for fit over a picnic table, but we just set it up with camp chairs and a camp table. Note, if you do want to enclose a picnic table, set it up over the table rather than trying to move it over top once assembled. It gets wobbly if you try to move it once set up and I was concerned about stressing the poles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Economical, high quality temp patio dining shelter One person managed to put it up, and once up it nicely withstood rain and some wind. Really a nice solution to our issues. Taking it down and repacking it was even easier. And plenty of room inside for our patio table and four chairs (two more might have fit, but we had no need to try that).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs a rain fly Disappointed with this screenhouse. Rain gets in very easily from the slanted side walls. The roof is much smaller than the footprint. Poor design. Also, the zippers do not close very well especially once staked down. I was fooled by the other good reviews, and I am disappointed with this screen house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from screen tent I ordered this one because the screen tent I got from the big box outdoor store came with holes in the roof, right out of the box. At least they took it back and refunded my money. I decided to go with LL Bean on a friend's recommendation. This one was easier to set up than the other one, and better quality as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not terrific We bought this as a picnic table shelter for when we are camping. It does a good job of keeping out bugs when you keep it zipped up, but we did have a problem with “ground bugs” since this item does not have a floor. Guess we could put down a tarp underneath if we really needed to. This unit DOES NOT keep out rain, except for maybe a light sprinkle. Recommend a fly or tarp for that. We found this to be sturdy, not difficult to put up or take down. We did have a chipmunk find his way under and inside, he got scared and ran up and down the walls while we tried to shoo him out. The walls held up to his sharp little nails and the mesh fabric was not damaged during the melee. I really wanted to like this more than I do… might be better suited for a beach shelter more than for camping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Screen House This screen house is a great idea. Unfortunately, the screening material is not strong. It torn easily and by the end of the summer it had several tears. Very delicate material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generally good, but rain is an issue Bought for a camping trip to ADK. In general, it worked well - put up by myself (although it would be much faster with help) - like the generally small packed size. - protected well against bugs Unfortunately, moderate rain is an issue - any item not in the center of the house WILL get wet. purchased (from another vendor) a lightweight tarp and 8 foot poles ($100 total), and clipped that to one side, which covered the campground's table. May purchase another tarp (or 3) to protect against the rain.... but that is starting to get too $$$. If I were to do this over, perhaps I'd consider LLB's more expensive offering (that is supplied by another vendor) that includes the fly on all 4 sides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Z set up keeps flying bugs out Comes in a small lightweight package 10” x 34.” I can set it up by myself 5-6 mins, but 2 people makes it easier. Keeps the bugs out. I do have a 10x 12 rug for the inside for ground insects the walls are slanted so rain does come in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I bought this for a 4th of July get together for 9 people. It is surprisingly easy to put up, take down and fold for storage. We used a narrow table and camp chairs and had plenty of room to eat. I think it's a very good value--less expensive than renting a tent--and I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value, roomy, easy to put up This is a good screen house, exactly what we needed. Pros: Roomy - we put our round glass patio table and 4 large chairs inside with room to spare. Has no floor, so no worry about piercing it or having to sweep before packing it away. Easy to put up and take down. Cons: The no-see-em-proof screen is less air permeable than expected, and the roof absorbs heat from the sun very readily, making the interior heat up quickly on sunny days, even with a breeze blowing. We draped a white sheet over the roof and clothes-pinned it into place, which cut the heat build-up noticeably. Designing the roof to reflect heat more would be valuable, as would roll-down covers for the screens to block the sun shining in from the side. There are supposed to be tie-backs on both sides for the front and back screens; a tie-back is completely missing on one side on our tent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Was great for a few months... I hate leaving negative reviews, but I would want someone to know what I know now. I got this screen tent last year. It was great. To be fair, it did stay out all summer. When we went to take it down last fall, we noticed some thinning of the fabric, but didn’t think much of it. Turns out the whole roof was dry rotted. Disappointing. I love LL Bean and If they made a replacement for the fabric part, I would totally buy it because everything else is structurally sound. However, a tent with a bunch of rips in the roof doesn’t do me much good in the meantime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential for camping in buggy areas! This really helped with the mosquitoes on our recent camping trip. Set up was easy; I did it with only my 5-year-old's "help." Lots of bigger flying bugs did come in via the ground (presumably), but they hung out at the top of the tent for the most part and didn't bother us. Big enough for the picnic table, our cooler, dry food box. Really exactly what we wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid We first used our screen tent while camping in Glacier NP. The edged bottom is slick for ease of entry and exit and to keep the bugs out of the bottom. One afternoon we were in it and a small squirrel snuck in. She was freaking out trying to get out, throwing her body against the screen walls. We finally got her out with both doors open and I was impressed that the tent held up and the mesh was not snagged or damaged at all. Great screen tent! Definitely an upgrade from our last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airy and Sturdy This screen tent is spacious and tall, thus comfortable size wise: it holds 2 beach chairs to nap in and a small table with 2 chairs with still some room to spare. It is well made and holds up in strong winds and rain if it set up correctly. It takes 2 people to set up but it doesn't take much time (10 min). I use it in our back yard (dubbed "reading tent") and I plan not to take it down until fall. It looks like it will hold up all summer (I purchased it in May.) For the price, it's the best I could find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great screen tent! Great screen, easy set up, nice looking, keeps black flies out, fits on my deck over picnic set, solid structure, great for outdoor bug-free socializing, I use the attached tie down cords on windy days, love it!
