Marked incorrect
I have a 30 inch waist. I ordered a pair of the pants and the waist was at least 2 inches too big. I sent them back and ordered another pair thinking that the first pair was miss marked. The second pair was also way too big in the waist. I’m very disappointed because I liked the pants but it’s too bad someone can’t measure

Comfortable, Durable and Warm Winter Pants
The pants provide needed warmth when it is cold outside and are very comfortable to wear. My phone fits well in the zippered leg pocket so they provide for my practical needs well. The first pair I purchased a few years ago show little wear and tear, so they have been a good investment. I bought a 2nd pair with a smaller waist size because the 1st pair waist was too big. I get the impression that the actual waist size is larger than the stated waist size. As with any clothing, test fit before buying if possible.
It is unfortunate that the Kansas City area L.L. Bean store closed recently, so it will not be possible for me to test fit L.L. Bean clothing prior to purchase.

These pants are great.
My husband loves these pants! He took them on a trip to Finland and Sweden and they kept him warm and dry. He even skied in them. He says they fit great around his waist and didn’t bag!

Warm and comfortable but sized too big
I've worn these on several hikes in cold temperatures and they're warm and comfortable. However, I ordered a size 32" waist but they fit me like a 34". I need a belt to keep them on. Most of my other pants and jeans, including a different brand non-fleece-lined pair of hiking pants are 32" and fit me perfect.

incredibly durable!
These pants are warm, comfortable, and good looking. On top of all that, they are incredibly durable. I crashed my bike at pretty high speed, sliding for ~20 feet on pavement. I assumed the pants would be damaged, but they still look perfect.

I bought a pair of these pants ~4 years ago, and I love them. I ordered the exact same size again this year because I wanted another pair. But they changed the sizing and fit. A 34 waist fit perfectly before, but the new 34 waist is HUGE on me. I haven't shrunk. :)
I ordered a 33 waist, and it fits nicely, but still slightly bigger than my 34.
ORDER A SIZE SMALLER than all your other pants.

Warm, not hot, great fit
Warm, but not hot. Great fit. I like my pants to be a little loose and relaxed in the crotch area. I’m a size 38, and these fit perfect with a belt. The bottom of the legs do not zip, but they are made a little wide. They also stretch. They can be tucked inside a large high boot, and they can fit over an average winter hiking boot. I was worried that the insulating lining would be too hot when hiking in the snow, but these where so comfortable. I didn’t need to wear a base layer. I would definitely recommend these.

Exactly what I was looking for
Absolutely love these pants. The fleece lining keeps your legs warm and the fit allows for an additional pair of long-johns if absolutely needed super cold weather. Wore these out hiking for the first time the week after XMas through some cold, windy, and rainy conditions and they performed perfectly.
My only wish is that there were two belt loops in the back vs just the one. Helps keep the pants from sliding down on the sides.
In a perfect world, I would have gotten a 33x33 since the 34x34 is a touch too long and big, but not enough to make me uncomfortable or regret purchasing the size.

Good product - cut on the large side of the sc
Pretty well made outdoor pants. They’re not wrinkle resistant but outdoor pants don’t have to be. Light insulation suggests made for active individuals. Nice number of zipper secured pockets. Snap button above the fly appears adequate but I’d prefer a hook and an extended button closure for extra reliability on the trail. One thing to note is that they are cut larger than equivalent sized LL Bean jeans. Best to try them on before you buy, otherwise, don’t be annoyed if you need to exchange them for the next size down. I did just that and the next size down fit perfectly.

cozy and comfortable but look terrible after wash
My husband initially loved these pants - they feel great and are warm and comfortable. However, after washing, the external fabric (which is quite thin) gets all caught up on the internal fleece, and it looks a wrinkly mess. Returning them. I think if the outer fabric was sturdier or more like a twill, this would not have been an issue.
