We've taken our rugged ripstop pants to the next level of comfort with an ultrasoft feel, a touch of stretch and a soft-knit elastic waistband - and to the next level of warmth with cozy grid-fleece lining.
- In a durable ripstop blend of 98% cotton with 2% spandex for just the right amount of stretch.
- Lined with 100% polyester fleece.

Fantastic pants, just one question

Excellent lined pants but low waist
These pants are overall great -- soft lining, comfortable fabric, good pockets. However, the waist is a bit low -- I am 5'1" 105 lbs and bought the petite small.

Comfy and cozy
I wore the pants four days while in Iceland in early spring, as well as on the airplane. Comfy and cozy. Wish I had been wearing something similar for a top! Did not have to wear additional long underwear.

Sizing seems different
I have another pair of these pants ... which I love ... and which I still wear. I bought another pain in the same size, different color and they don't fit at all. They fit as though they are 2 sizes too small. The other pair that I bought a couple of years ago still fits great. What happened?? ... and remember, older pair of the same size still fits ... so it's not me!

Comfortable and Warm
Love these pants. Are very comfortable and warm. Like the snaps on the pockets (instead of buttons). The petite size fit me well especially on the leg length. Would like the elastic waist band to be a tighter fit; have to use the waist band ties to make sure they stay up. Would recommend.

Great Idea Too Short of Waist
Please LLBean make more of your perfect fit fleece lined straight leg pants in jeans and regular pants in Petite. I live in mine but they are very old and I need to buy new ones. These would be great except for the midrise waist slips down in the back too low when bending over so they're not as comfortable for that reason. I love your fleece-backed pants. I did order some perfect fit in regular size right now but I'm 5' and they'll be very long. I need the warmth.

Warm and Cozy
I had previously owned the unlined version of these pants, and when i saw the fleece-lined I had to try them. My work is half office/half outdoors and when it's cold, its nice to have the right gear. Theae pants fit the bill. They are very warm and cozy! They have nice deep pockets, rear pockets as well as a nice cargo pocket on the side that keeps my phone handy and safe. The fabric is soft and flexible and washed perfectly. Wont be able to wear in the warmer months, but the unlined ones work well then.

Medium Mediurm/Tall is Horribly large
I just purchased a Medium/ Medium Tall. The waist band is 14" wider than a similar Ripstop lined pants (size Medium) from Beans that I ordered over a year ago. Medium pants are to fit a 29" waist, but the new pants are 36" at the waist and 50" at the widest part of the hips. I am returning them. They are horribly large. (These MT are 1" longer than the regular medium - which is what I wanted). But I didn't want them to be huge elsewhere.

Defective draw strings.
I like these pant, however after purchasing several pairs after a wash or two the draw strings for your waist loose their tips and go into stretch part so you have no way to tighten the pants. I love Bean but I have also had the same problem with their hooded sweat shirts. Do not think I will be by from Bean soon.

Love except the over baggy leg and butt
I love the concept of these pants, but if you don't have thick thighs or butt, these will hang off of you. I'm slim in those areas and find that because these aren't snug enough, air gets in and doesn't keep you as warm as they could. I would go down one size.

Perfect pants!

Ripstop Nice!
