The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in a flattering longer length. Our scotch plaid tunic is available 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Nice shirt overall
I was expecting a softer flannel, like the sheets, but it is a little heavier and stiffer. Love the colors which haven't faded with washing. 3x is usually roomy for me, but this shirt is more like a 2x.

Need FITTED
I bought a FITTED flannel shirt from LLBEAN years ago and it finally got so thin that it ripped and I had to throw it away. I have been looking at LLBEAN for another fitted flannel but they are RELAXED which does not look feminine at all. It looks so boxy. I like this particular flannel and saw it last year as well but it is not FITTED. I keep being told by the sales people in the stre that many women are wanting the FITTED. They told me to post this comment here on the website.

These cozy tunics are very easy to love... They don't have to grow on you... It's love at first comfort!

Fantastic flannel!
Fantastic flannel! As usual the quality is the best. I am finally retiring my first flannel LL Bean shirts from the '80's. Though I don't wear them every week , my collection over the years are my favorite comfortable shirts. As a senior, I don't like to tuck shirts in anymore. I'm so happy for the tunic length I wear over leggings. Love having the front pockets for that tissue. I'm small and short, so side pockets are not flattering where they fit. I plan to order again to start my new "retired" collection.

Perfect!
I bought the size small, petite and it is a perfect length and fit. I don’t usually wear a petite size but the regular size tunic was way too long. The regular scotch plaid shirts aren’t long enough for the fit I like, especially to wear with leggings. This one is just right. I’m 5’ 4” and 120 lbs.
