This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Great flannel shirt
I really like the soft cotton flannel fabric and the colors of the plaid. In Arizona I wear flannel shirts as light jacket. The colors in the plaid allow me to wear lots of different color long sleeve cotton shirts under it. I did buy a size larger than I would have if I had planned to wear it as a shirt. I’ve washed it twice in hot water since I bought it and the size didn’t change and it still looks new.

Overall great shirt with one issue
I have two of these tunic flannel tops and the black and white one which is not available anymore comes out of the wash great, after a slight tumble in the dryer. However, I can’t say the same about the black watch color which comes out looking crumpled, even after a short tumble and hanging to dry. Honestly, it needs an iron to look as nice as the black and white shirt does. I hope they can adjust something with the fabric so it comes out of the dryer looking better than it does. I don’t wear this one much because of that issue and I’m hesitant to order other colors.
