The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in a flattering longer length. Our scotch plaid tunic is available 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Very warm when worn with a shirt underneath. The material is soft and lovely colors. The only negative that I have is that it wrinkles easily. I try to hand press the wrinkles out after it is lightly dried.

Wonderful Flannel Shirt
LLB is my go-to for lots of clothing because of their petite sizing and this shirt is a perfect example. I bought a petite large in the Angus plaid and it's spot on. It's a long shirt that doesn't look sloppy. Sleeves are the perfect length without having to roll up the cuffs.
The colors are bright and I especially love the way the red plays off the blue and actually looks a little purple-ish where they meet. The flannel is so soft and cozy, especially when I wear it on cold days with red turtleneck. This shirt has become the one I reach for almost daily. It's that good.

Beautiful deep red. Goes great with black pants. I like the fact that these tunics cover the rear without being too long. I am just the height at which the regular flannel shirts feel too short, so the tunics are perfect.

I purchased this to replace my old beloved LL Bean Flannel Shirt. Material quality was not as heavy as my old one. It does have the tendency towards a little pilling. The fit is very relaxed. Washed well and colors didn't fade.

Petite was too big
Petite was Too Big! I was very surprised. I purchased the petite large. It does say relaxed fit. However, It is bigger around and longer than a similar shirt size large (relaxed fit) purchased last year. I will say last year’s shirt was purchased at Dillards not on line.
I tumble on air or low heat to soften, but I always pull shirts while still damp.

Almost perfect
I love the softness, the length, the lightweight feel, and the beautiful colors. The fit is slightly boxy below the bust, and the initially perfect-length sleeves shrank some after laundering. I wish I could iron it (it's a bit wrinkled coming directly out of the dryer, or even after line-drying) but the instructions say not to. The material clings to my hips when buttoned, so I prefer to wear it unbuttoned with a shirt or turtleneck underneath.

Dishonest description. Not Portuguese flannel.
I bought in 2 plaid patterns based on LL Bean claiming that the fabric is woven in Portugal. The tags clearly state "Fabric of Sri Lanka" and "Made in Sri Lanka". The flannel is fairly thin. These shirts just aren't as described on LL Bean website. Quality gone way down like everything else. No integrity.

Perfect tunic length
This is the softest flannel I have ever worn. The colors are vibrant and the tunic length petite is perfect on my 5’ frame. It looks great right out of the dryer, but I prefer to let it hang to dry to preserve its fluffiness, so a light touch-up with an iron helps smooth it out. . Only change I would suggest: on-seam pockets.
