Run baggy and long
I entered my info in the find my size calculator and it came up as a M regular. I am 5'3" and always find petite sizing too short. These are very long on me, at least 3 inches too long, even when in my ski boots. I tried them on over jeans and they were so baggy in the leg they were just not flattering. My old LL Bean ski pants are about 20 years old also a medium regular and fit great in the length, but I just wanted a new color to match a new jacket. (I ordered the navy in the event that makes a difference)

Unusual style
I was thrilled to find snow/ski pants in a petite. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. They seemed to be well constructed for the cold. When I looked in the mirror, I was disappointed. From the side, they looked fine. But when I looked at them from the front, the bottoms flared out so much I couldn't believe they were the same pants. The snaps at the top of the of the pants are different from usual snaps. They are a little difficult to use.

Nice but too large
I ordered a petite small based on LLBean’s find your size guide. The small was just too big for me, especially in the waist - regardless of the ability to adjust it smaller. Otherwise, the pants looked well made but I was unwilling to order the xsmall and take a chance on having them fit. I have an old version of an LLBean snowpant and decided to stick with it. The legs aren’t as wide, the pants are still warm and work for me. I returned the ‘new’ snow pants.

Excellent Performance and Comfort
These snow pants perform remarkably well and are unbelievably comfortable. I wear them with a thin base layer, and they have kept me warm in as little as 16 degrees (Fahrenheit). I am sure they would perform well at even lower temperatures. They seem to run a bit large. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall, 115 pounds, and got the small petite. I probably could have used the x-small petite, but found that the smalls worked well when I cinched them with the velcro tabs. This also gives me some extra room if I want to use more layers underneath.

Great quality, but inaccurate product description
These pants are great SKI pants, unfortunately L. L. Bean calls them SNOW pants. I am looking for a water and windproof pair of pants to wear outdoors to walk my dogs. I read the description and it clearly said snow pants. When then arrived, I tried them on and they fit great! Fantastic construction and almost perfect, except... The bottom of the pant was flared to fit over a ski boot. The elastic band of the liner was also very wide to accommodate a ski boot. What I am looking for, is a semi-straight leg version of this pant to fit over my regular shoes or snow boots to ward off the winter snow and wind. I'm hoping someone at Bean reads this review and creates such a product for next season. It is hard to find and high in demand. Thanks!

Waistband also needs elastic inserts!
My second pair. Love them except I think there needs to be elastic inserts in waistband especially since there is no stretch in pants. Would be helpful if you need to sit down.

Petite sizes
Finally snow pants in petite sizes! Nice fit, well made, pretty warm but wish they were windproof. Bought a Medium Petite pair last year lost some weight and bought a Small Petite size this year. Passed the old ones on to a friend because they were still in great condition. Use for snow shoveling and dog walking.

These pants have nice features but they are huge. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 95 pounds. I ordered the petite XS. The length was fine but the width was way too big, even if layers were worn underneath.

Snow Pants Comfortably Fit for Northern Minnesota
These are warm enough for MN cold, and roomy enough for long underwear underneath. Haven't worn them yet in wet shoveling but they will likely be perfect, I could tell when giving them their pre-wearing soak/wash before I wore them outside on a cold day. I am a size 2, ordered the Petite XS, they are very comfortably roomy for movement, with the Bean long underwear underneath. Expensive, but will seriously do what I bought them for, MN winter shoveling and walking. Also, these do not have a strong chemical odor. 👍🏼😍

This was way too small! I'm reordering bibs a size up, because I could tell the waist still would be tight on me. For reference: bought a S, I measure 5'5" and 125–130 lbs, pear-shaped. I wear XS in cozy joggers and S or size 6 in most LL Bean pants. Trying the M bibs.

Quality pants
I bought these pants for my daughter, who does a lot of outdoor activities in the cold. Her weather immediately dropped into the teens and single digits. She was so happy to have these pants to wear while tending her horses. She also has winter pants from another, well known, company, but says the LLBean pants are warmer and more comfortable. Good job, LLBean!
