Didn't match picture!
I bought these shoes because I really liked my Keen work boots that had the same color leather as pictured with these shoes. Upon arrival the leather was nothing like in the picture. I don't know if they need time to fade or what. Shoe itself is comfy and fit as expected. Needed to swap laces as they don't match the shoe at all. Overall wasn't feeling the best about this $200 purchase.

Favorite shoe
This is the second pair of these that I have bought. It is a replacement for when the pair I have wear out. I wear them every day. I wear them to work, I wear them when not at work. With chinos or jeans or shorts. With socks or without. I pretty much wear them 7 days a week. The first pair are a year old and have no signs of wearing out. I have never had a pair of shoes I ever liked as much as these. So comfortable, and cushioning. Like walking on air. The only time I don’t wear them is to the gym. Although you could.

Good Functional Shoes
Fit excellent.
Support firm. Not too soft as many other shoes are.
Ribbed sole excellent in all weather.
Shoe is what I was looking for, for daily wear..
However, the shoe, in terms of color, is not the shoe shown in the adds. The shoe comes in a "Chocolate brown" which has quite a bit of reddish tinge.. Not the "distressed" look shown in the ads.
Perhaps it will "wear" to that some day.
Does not affect function of shoe.

Fantastic shoes for day to day on your feet work!
Absolutely love these shoes! I am a woodshop teacher at a high school and I am on my feet all day on a concrete floor and these things are insanely comfortable. The tread is great in snow, the construction of the shoes is top notch, and the overall fit and finish is beautiful. I couldn't recommend them more. I am a size 14 and they fit perfectly for my feet.

Almost a good shoe
Was loving this shoe at first with casual wear during the holidays. Unfortunately...after a few days of walking to my office I experienced painful rubbing of the top side of the shoes on my ankle bones (lateral malleolus). I have no other shoes that do this so they gotta go. Too bad.

Great shoe to have built up
After my left knee replacement surgery I needed to have my right shoe built up to balance my leg lengths. I tried the Stonington shoes and was very pleased with their comfort and quality, and construction. They are an excellent choice for my build up needs. I have purchased a second pair as backups.

Great workmanship

These are really nice casual shoes that are very comfortable. They have a feel of being in nice tennis shoes. The only down side in my opinion is I would rather leather laces that don't come untied often.

Comfortable. Quality made. However...Bean has got to start offering some better Holiday deals. I load-up on shoes and other durables during Black Friday. I can find way better deals on similar quality brands elsewhere during that period. Some of those are even American made.

Best shoe ever
I bought this shoe in August of 2023. It is the best most comfortable and versatile shoe I have ever owned. I am buying another pair today just as insurance Incase the pair I have ever wear out and for some odd reason Bean decides to discontinue them. For example I loved their full zip sweatshirt and they quit carrying them. I may but a third pair of these shoes too just to put in the back of the closet for the future. I wear this shoe everywhere. To work with my LL Bean chinos or around the house with jeans or shorts, to the beach or fishing or boating. I also don’t like to wear socks and they do not get smelly like sneakers do. I even spilled chicken grease on one of them and a day later you would never know. They are even more comfortable than my favorite pair of sneakers. You will never need another pair of shoes. Also, sometimes with other shoes if you don’t wear socks the shoe might rub a part of your foot a certain way and make your foot hurt. There is not one spot in these shoes like that. Again, these are the BEST and MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever owned.

High Quality is what you get from LL Bean
These shoes are without a doubt the best shoes I have purchased in some time. I bought shoes from three retailers and found they were either too heavy or not very high quality. I should have known that rather purchase from the other guys that LL Bean always deals in high quality. Regards Gordon
