Nice~Not for narrow feet
The Boots were beautiful! I have narrow size 7 feet. The size 7 was all around too large. My feet were flopping around in them. Sadly, returned them.

No size 10.5
Would love to order shoes from you, but you never stock size 10.5. It's amazing to me how that size is continually skipped. I know that there are many people with the same problem. It's frustrating.

Very Comfortable Once Broken In
Firstly, I love the simple design. A classic look. The leather is thick. The soles are sturdy and what I need for getting around our hilly yard. It took me a few times to break in the toe box. Moleskin on my feet prevented blisters while I broke them in.
I also added inexpensive insoles for extra cushion and fit.
Now the boots are very very comfortable.

The suede on this boot is so stiff. Maybe it would soften up as you wear them but I wasn’t about to put my ankles and legs through that! Retuned.

good everyday shoe for cooler weather
I have always like the chukka shoe style for everyday wear and could not pass up these shoes for the sale price. They fit comfortably and go well with either jeans or slacks with a dressier look compared to sneakers. These are going to make an excellent winter everyday shoe.

Great looking and wearing shoes!
Great shoes! They exceeded my expectations. The leather is very nice and supple, but still firm. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and ordered this in an 8 and they fit great. These are a bit of a flatter sole compared to other shoes I have, but they still provide arch good support. Overall, these are a really nice wearing shoe and also a great looking shoe. Would buy again!

Perfect!
Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish - what more could a girl want in a pair of shoes! I wear a size 7 wide and the boot fits perfect with medium weight socks but will be too tight with heavy winter socks until they are broken in and loosen up. I intend to wear them as my walking-in-the-woods shoes.

Impossibly Tight in the Toe Box
I wear a size 7 and my feet are perhaps a bit wider than average, but I typically can wear a regular shoe and don’t buy wide even if available. These boots have no room for the front of your foot!

Disappointed.
Like many of the other reviews, I was disappointed in this shoe. It LOOKS great, but was not comfortable. The leather was too stiff and I didn't get the sense that it would ever be "broken in" enough to wear for any longer than a couple hours. Sadly, they were returned.

Nice boots but low instep make them hard to put on
These appear to be very nicely made boots. Unfortunately the instep is too low (even though I ordered a wide size) so I wasn’t able to get my foot into the boot. They would probably fit someone who has low arches.

Attractive but no arch support
These shoes are very attractive and well-made. However, I was surprised to put them on and find that there was no arch support whatsoever. I tried putting orthotics in but then the fit was off.

Nice Boots - Not Wide Enough
These boots are well made and attractive for chukka boots. I ordered the Wide Width size. Usually, wide shoes and boots fit my feet. Unfortunately, these boots were not wide enough for my feet. They felt sturdy and cushiony, just a little too narrow.

Sharp!
These are comfortable and look nice. I'm so very glad however, that I read the reviews and got the wide size. I wear a 10 and don't normally need a wide, but there's no way I could have worn a 10 regular because the wide is a tight fit even with thinner socks. I have a lot of extra two room which is not normal for 10s. I'm wondering if I could have gotten away with a 9 1/2 wide instead, but didn't want to mess with returning and trying a different size.

Slightly uncomfortable in Achilles area.
Love the look of this Chukka. It is a stiff shoe especially the Achilles area of it. It sits a little high at the back of the ankle and this caused rubbing and soreness. I’m still trying to get them comfortable to wear. The toe box area is a bit narrow. I think if the design team could cut it just slightly shorter in the ankle area it would be a shoe you could put on and feel great in.

Good-looling chukka boot
Based on many comments of tight boots, I ordered wide boots instead of my normal regular width. I'm glad I did because they were still a bit tight on my one foot. Today I wore the boots for six hours doing chores around the house and out getting groceries, etc. This evening, I couldn't stand them on my feet any more; I just had to get them off. When I took them off, my feet were sweating and the inside footbed was damp. Generally, my feet don't sweat much or at least my other shoes breathe better than the boots did. After taking them off I looked for the label that would tell me what material the inside of the boot is made of. That information is not on a label yet I thought that was a required U.S. regulation for footwear. While Bean's online information says the interior lining is leather, my feet were so damp that I wonder if the lining is synthetic material so they choose not to label it. Otherwise, it's a nice boot.

Disappointed
Recently purchased these boots and I really wanted to like them. Based on the reviews I bought them in wide (I have never bought wide shoes in the past). They were still tight and uncomfortable. And maybe a minor detail but the laces were cheap looking and didn't really look good in this particular shoe. Too bad LL Bean has taken such a nose dive over the years. I used to be a big fan.
