repurchased for the third year in a row
This is my third year in a row purchasing this jacket. I wish that it was made in a size bigger than 4T! My boys LOVE these fleeces with the bear ears. They request to wear their bear jackets. Navy goes with almost all of their wardrobe and stays pretty clean looking with wild toddler boys. They have been worn multiple seasons and washed many times and held up very well. The price has definitely been worth it. I'm also not sure if these pass the car seat test or not officially, but I feel comfortable with them on in the car seats so that is a nice perk.
Sizing: I tend to size up 1-2 sizes in this for them and it fits great, but this season my large 3.5yo has been wearing the 3T while we wait for the 4T to arrive and it fits for the moment (just shorter than I'd like for warmth).

Love it but confused about price.
Ordered this online. It fit true to size for my daughter 2T. The quality is great. I paid $95. When I received it there was a price tag on it saying $59. Not sure when I paid so much more.

Pro: Soft, cute ears. Con: loose cuff, yuck brown
Overall soft to touch and light weight. The sleeves were too long and the loose cuff opening made the coat too big to wear (no way to rollup and “grow into it”). My kid loves Teddy coats but hated the dark brown color of this one.

Very Warm
I had orginally bought this because I thought it would be cute for my son for an outdoor photoshoot in November 2023. The weather ended up being the coldest day with temperatures below -20c. Everytime we stopped to "warm up" his body was so warm. This became a staple piece for us as a stand alone jacket for the rest of the winter when running errands and coming to and from the car or under his winter jacket as a layering piece. Love this jacket and highly recommend for Canadian Winter.

Well Made Jacket that can hold up to weekly washes
My granddaughter loves her L.L.Bean Fleece Jacket. It's her favorite jacket. At first I thought the Rich Berry might be a little too bright, but it was perfect. The jacket is warm and well made. It's perfect for outdoor activities at Day Care. It's holding up well to weekly washing without fading. Lastly she couldn't be any cuter in her LL Bean jacket with the cubby ears.

Missing the “wow” factor for us!
I had a 9 year old toddler fleece with ears from another brand I was hoping to replace with this one. Between the pictures and reviews I thought I was upgrading to a much warmer, higher quality fleece. But it is not nearly has warm or plush as I had hoped. My child is almost 2 and average size and the 3T fit him just perfectly, so we would be lucky to get another year out of this. The hood makes it too bulky to use as a mid layer but the fleece isn’t warm enough to use solely as a coat for anything colder than a fall day. We returned this one and will look for something warmer and sized more generously so we can get more than 1 season out of it. Aesthetically, it’s a great looking piece for a toddler!
