Pants not the same.
I bought 1 pr of green & 1 pr of tan, same order number. One is almost too small and of different fabric that “gives” very little. Disappointed.

Suitable for Public Places and Rough Site Visits
They fit well, they wear well, easy care & light weight.
Front pockets are too shallow for cell phone (iPhone/14), ok for other small items. Handy snap back pockets also are small for cell, but secure for other smaller items. Used them while hiking through Sicily & southern Italy during hot summer, they were comfy, tidy and covered legs for visits to religious institutions.

Not the best
I've worn these a few times at this point. I ended up cutting off the strings in the waistband. There is enough elastic in the waistband and it is sized correctly that they are totally not needed and only create lumps underneath my tee. A lot of cost could be saved by omitting this feature. The fabric is too stiff and I am hoping it will soften after many washes.

Crotch is way to long on all your oants
Why is the crotch in your pants so long. Every pair I have bought from ll bean is this way. Not anyone can have this long of a crotch area. Nice pants but can’t wear

Flattering and comfortable
These pants look a lot different on me than the model. Better! The legs are a slim cut, as described, which is way more flattering than the baggy look on the model. The fabric is smooth, light, and cool. However, the rise on the Petite is very short, especially in the back, so the pants pulled down way too low in the back when I sat down or kneeled down to garden. So I reordered the same size in Regular. I am on the top end of the petite range at 5'3'' so if you are shorter, the petite version might be fine.

Comfortable pants but need deeper pockets.
Very comfortable pants with pockets. Although the pockets could be deeper. I can't fit my mobile phone in the front pocket, I have to put it in the back pocket, which isn't optimal since the back pockets aren't deep enough to snap closed with my phone inside. Also, since there is virtually no stretch to the pants, I recommend going up one size up.
