These mats can only be a 5 star rating!
I have several of LLBean's waterhog mats; different colors for different seasons and several to use at different doors. They are incredibly durable. Some of mine are a couple of years old and are heavily used with zero signs of wear. I am pleased with the color options, varied design styles and sizes. Most importantly, my cat (for some strange reason) loves to hide underneath it. Silly kitty.

Was all that I Wanted
I needed a small, non-slip, easily cleaned rug for inside the door to our screened in-porch. This rug was exactly what was needed. It doesn't slip even with my husband's rollator going over it or when wiping off the shoes when coming in (think spring pollen). Functional but toxic smell
Although the mat is very functional and I like my color, the materials it is made of is giving off a VERY strong toxic smell. This is referred to as "degassing" and and means it is giving off off volatile organic compounds compounds (VOCs) in the material which are highly toxic to humans and animal. Me and my dog have to get wiff's of this toxic smell everytime we enter or exit our house (it is on our front stoop). This is very bad, and I would caution everyone not to use one of these mats in the home which would be even more dangerous.

WOW!!!!!
I rarely write reviews. But WOW I bought one of these as I had been trying out multiple products over the last year trying to find one that was durable, looked nice and actually did what it said it would. I have multiple dogs - several of whom I don't know sometimes how they ever actually drink from their water bowls because I am constantly cleaning puddles of water from around the bowl. Problem fixed!!!!!! I ordered one of these and after a few days ordered 2 more for a door mat and for another water bowl location. There has not been a single drop of water that is visible on the mat or the tile floor area around it.
