falling short
1st wash started to pill where my phone holster was rubbing. I would expect more from an item with this price and features. My Wall mart timberline hike pants have way out performed these so at $26/pant i could buy 4. Not impressed.

Perfect fit and comfortable
I'm very happy with these pants. My most recent purchase was my third pair, as I wanted to buy a lighter color. They are a perfect fit for me, which is not easy to find since I have a 29 inch inseam. I found these to be very comfortable in hot weather. The zipped pockets allow me to securely carry items without worry. I highly recommend these pants.

A Great Fit!
The pants fit well and the light weight material makes it more comfortable hiking on those hot and humid summer days. Just what I was looking for.

Cresta hiking pants
I'm using these for work pants and loving them . They fit great ( standard fit / not stretch ). Pockets are ample and I am really liking the zipper closures on them. Still seeing how well they hold up to the use I give them but could name at least two brands that would have been ruined already.

Great pants
Still great pants. When I first started using these pants daily there was one size. Now there are two slim sizes that are frankly feminine. The new water resistant feature only detracts from breathability.

Just what I was looking for
I needed light weight pants to wear working outside on hot summer days. These are not only light... they fit well, have plenty of pockets, and I like my color. Can't wait to see them in action.

Nice pants but inseam longer than expected
With most LL Bean pants 34" inseam is fine. However these were extra long, more like a 36"

Hiking Pants
Light n airy, good summer pant for walks, hiking light duty outdoors, etc.
Only real negative is the zippered cargo pockets arent deep enough for a cell phone, just barely can zip it. Also, would be nice to have a separate pocket for a clip knife. Who hikes without a knife?
Just make a few slight improvements and you have a decent hiking pant for hot weather.

I will buy them again and again.
I have been buying these for a long time. They are rugged, comfortable, and a nice weight for the Tucson environment where I live. I will buy them again and again.

Nice looking comfortable pants
The pants look very nice. The material is strong yet light and comfortable with a nice stretch. The problem is the snap. I have not seen other reviews that mention this, so maybe they tuck their shirt in. Without the shirt tucked in, the snap is very hard and sharp and is very uncomfortable. Also, I normally wear a 32 long in LLB pants, but these run 2 inches longer so I had to get a length of 30.

Everyday Classics!
These pans are an everyday classic: they are well proportioned, of a fine fabric, have generous front pockets, and get the job done. Well done, L.L. Bean!

Awesome every day pants
I recently switched to wearing cresta hiking pants over my old cotton LL Bean cargo pants. The cresta pants look much nicer and are extremely light in comparison. They dry very quickly—no need to put them in the dryer after washing them, just hang them up for an hour. I have noticed they run a bit large in the waist, but a belt does the trick.

My goto travel pants
I bought a pair some time ago for a trip and for hiking. Since then, I've begun wearing them on travel to Europe, especially when we are on long trips (4-8 weeks). They have become my goto pants for travel since they look good and I love the extra leg pockets for important docs like passport, etc. The stretch is just enough and they wear well so far. Color selection is not bad also. Thanks LLBean
