Nice pants but inseam longer than expected
With most LL Bean pants 34" inseam is fine. However these were extra long, more like a 36"

Hiking Pants
Light n airy, good summer pant for walks, hiking light duty outdoors, etc.
Only real negative is the zippered cargo pockets arent deep enough for a cell phone, just barely can zip it. Also, would be nice to have a separate pocket for a clip knife. Who hikes without a knife?
Just make a few slight improvements and you have a decent hiking pant for hot weather.

I will buy them again and again.
I have been buying these for a long time. They are rugged, comfortable, and a nice weight for the Tucson environment where I live. I will buy them again and again.

Nice looking comfortable pants
The pants look very nice. The material is strong yet light and comfortable with a nice stretch. The problem is the snap. I have not seen other reviews that mention this, so maybe they tuck their shirt in. Without the shirt tucked in, the snap is very hard and sharp and is very uncomfortable. Also, I normally wear a 32 long in LLB pants, but these run 2 inches longer so I had to get a length of 30.

Everyday Classics!
These pans are an everyday classic: they are well proportioned, of a fine fabric, have generous front pockets, and get the job done. Well done, L.L. Bean!

Awesome every day pants
I recently switched to wearing cresta hiking pants over my old cotton LL Bean cargo pants. The cresta pants look much nicer and are extremely light in comparison. They dry very quickly—no need to put them in the dryer after washing them, just hang them up for an hour. I have noticed they run a bit large in the waist, but a belt does the trick.

My goto travel pants
I bought a pair some time ago for a trip and for hiking. Since then, I've begun wearing them on travel to Europe, especially when we are on long trips (4-8 weeks). They have become my goto pants for travel since they look good and I love the extra leg pockets for important docs like passport, etc. The stretch is just enough and they wear well so far. Color selection is not bad also. Thanks LLBean

Great for trail and around town
My husband has repurchased these pants several times since they were first introduced. Durability, comfort and the zippered pockets are the main reasons for purchasing. It is disappointing that they are no longer sold in black.

Pants legs and waist height
I brought a taller size and I appreciate that the waist is higher and gets the pants belt location off my hips. Pants legs are too wide, one inch narrower to 8” in lieu of 9” would make them more stylish.

Beach wedding casual pants
Bought for my husband to wear to a beach wedding in July. We wanted something that will look nice but also cool to wear and casual. We feel this will work nicely. Talking about a man that is most comfortable in blue jeans or cut off blue jean shorts.

Good hot & humid day pants
These are my second pair. Comfortable on hot & humid days. Like this style of cargo pockets which is more streamlined than then type on the outside of the leg.

Stay dry pants
Love these pants. This is my 3rd pair. I get a new set every 2-3 years. I wear them frequently in the summer and fall. Always take them out when wet weather threatens. Wifey was so impressed she got her own.

Best outdoor or indoor by a long shot
The Cresta pants and shorts are great. I wear both pretty much exclusively now. I go camping, hiking, biking, and out to dinner, they are that durable yet good looking. I wsh there were more belt loops, 5 seems a bit stingy. But the zippered pockets keep everything secure. Never a worryy about losing my wallet.

Be prepared to exchange for a smaller size
Do not base your size on your favorite pair of jeans. Literally go 2 inches smaller on the waist, and 2 inches shorter on the inseam. The pants are not sized to sit at the hips; rather, they are sized to sit slightly below the hips. Be prepared to exchange, or potentially hem leg length. Except for that complexity, the pants are awesome! They are handsome, durable, useful, light and packable… Once you find the perfect fit, you will love the pants!!
