My Uniform from May To Nov
These shorts and a Bean T are all I wear from May to November! Love all the pockets and despite comments that an iphone won't fit, I have never had a problem with mine or my wife's which is bigger than mine. Because these shorts don't come in a Natural Fit, I order one size larger for superior comfort.

The side pockets are too small to hold an iPhone. Yet, the zip off shorts from the long pants can hold an iPhone. Why the difference?

Comfortable and practical pants

Great Every Day Shorts
I own many pairs of these. They are my go-to shorts for casual everyday wear. Also active wear in several areas, camping, boating, hiking, etc. The material is a good balance of quick-drying and durability. The location and size of the pockets is excellent. My phone fits well in either of the thigh pockets. Both thigh and both rear pockets have zipper closures which I consider the gold standard. The only downside is that on the very oldest pairs that I own, the rubber tips on the zipper pulls have started to fail. These shorts have seen hard use for at least 10 years so I think that is not a problem. Otherwise, they function as original although they look a bit beat up.

Light weight, cool and very comfortable shorts
PLEASE bring back the PLATNUM gray color. I just saw them online and they were sold out. I was not even able to order from individual stores either. I already have the other colors and the PLATNUM would coordinate with so many shirt colors.
