These fit my 8-year-old well, but we have found them only so-so in very heavy weather. For example, he gets damp underneath in rides on the back of the cargo bike in heavy rain. Also material is not up to the demands of an active 8-year-old; it has already ripped from playing in the rain. Bottom line: suggest looking for something more rugged if you plan to be in heavy weather or heavy wear situations.

Size and zipper a problem
Separate size 5 and size 6 would be better than combining. Better without zipper.

Wind, Water, and Sand Repellent Success
We own these in every size. They are used whenever rain and mud are around, and windy days. great for the beach too if youre trying to limit how much sand comes home with you!

Waterproof pants for a small woman at a savings
Great water proof pants for a petite woman. I am 5 ft. tall and weigh 105 lbs. The women's petite extra small was too big in the hips and too long. The kids size 12 was perfect in hips and length. I was thrilled and saved money in the process.

Overall good but pant hem is loose
A good kids rain pant. Wish I could adjust the tightness around the pant hem as it’s not snug to his boot. The rain pants for the younger kid’s sizes have an elastic.

Nice toddler rain pants for muddy puddles!
Very nice rain pants for my grandson. Perfect long zippers on lower legs will make it easier to slip them on over shoes or boots. The only thing they are lacking, is a Velcro tab closure (like my LL Bean rain pants have) to tighten them around the ankles to avoid dragging or tripping over them.

Rain Pants for Kids
Excellent quality and highly recommend! The only rain pants we have ever used because they keep my son dry in wet weather, and withstand his active play outdoors.

Waist seems snug for the size ordered.
I ordered for my 9 almost 10 year old daughter who is wearing a size 10/12. The waist seems Tight on these and the length is long (next size up is way too big).

Great for rainy camping trip
Our small school’s 5th grade goes to an environmental camp each April. It’s usually chilly (40-50s during the day, 30-40 at night) & outdoor activities happen rain or shine. Well it rained 1/2 the time this year when my son was there. These pants were perfectly waterproof, kept him dry & were roomy enough to allow wearing a warm pair of fleece pants or jeans or whatnot plus a base layer underneath. Elastic waistband was good for comfortable layering. Bottoms of the legs had zippers & fit right over his tall Bogs boots. He was psyched he had them!
