Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adventure Dome Tent has Quality Featured My 6 man Adventure Dome tent made my camping trip perfect. Ya know how when you're old and achy when you go tent camping? I'm only 67 but in the past I didn't sleep well while tent camping. This tent gave me room to put down a queen sized area padded mat. Covered with warm flannel sheets and blankets I stayed warm. Quality stakes, ropes EASY for me to put up and I loved the zippers on door and windows. I'm looking forward to camping again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Standing vs. kneeling Nice and tall tent. It’s height makes rearranging and organizing do much easier than being on your knees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent…even in the rain We purchased this tent this summer to replace our 30+ year old LLbean tent. We couldn’t be happier! Our first trip was to a lake in Georgia where is rained (I mean poured) the first two nights. The tent stayed completely dry! We had a tarp under it and the campsite was one big puddle and water got under the tent because the tarp was sticking out a bit (user error) but there was never any water or moisture in the tent! The second trip was up in the mountains where you guessed it, it poured all 5 nights! Still no rain in the tent! This time we made sure the tarp was completely under the tent floor and there is no water under the tent at all. People in the campground have come by to check on us because the storms have been so bad and are amazed that our tent is still dry!! Thanks llbean! You’ve come through again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tent does what it' supposed to do! Hi I just bought the Adventure Dome 6 person tent and used it this past weekend for a music festival. It was really roomy for my LL Bean cot (really comfy by the way) and my guitar, banjo, food, clothes etc. Also, being able to stand and walk around is so great for this 70 year old body :) Set up is in 2 parts- the tent itself and the fly that goes over it. I set it up alone. The set up of the tent was easy as could be. No problem there. However, setting up the fly was a different story. It assembled easy enough but when I put I put the pole and cover over the top of the tent, the pole kept sliding off the top where the other 2 tent poles intersect. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get the pole to stay up at the top while draping the cover around the tent sides. Granted this would have been easier with 2 people but I was hoping it would be easy with one person. So, I give this tent a 4 due to the difficulty in keeping the fly pole in place when installing the fly. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to keep the pole anchored at the top. I know it would make the job easier if there was a sleeve for the fly pole like there is for the intersecting tent poles...something to keep in mind when updating this tent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but lacks features I have the 2 person model for car camping and was considering purchasing the 4 person fir extra room. The lack of a 2nd door in definitely a deal breaker. There will only be 2 of us but 2 doors are a must. I can only assume Bean wanted to cut corners to keep the price down. My 2 person is very well made

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tent, but came with holes in the mesh This is a great tent for car camping with our family of four. Unfortunately, the mesh ceiling has a bunch of little holes in it. When unpacking the tent, it did seem like it was slightly used— scratches on the the tent poles made it obvious that it had been erected previously— probably more than once. Presumably all of that is not that tent’s fault, so I will exchange for a new one and try again. But I do worry a bit that the mesh is flimsy enough to have somehow acquired holes in the first place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Tent First used 2 weeks ago for week-long trip. Very quick and easy set up. Hard rain 1 night, stayed completely dry. The tent vented very well and did not create any condensation. Much roomier than expected. I really love this tent. My only criticism is the tent bottom seems a little thin. Hopefully the 68 denier is tougher than it appears. Great tent for the money. LL Bean rocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tent of Hopes and Dreams of Hiking My daughter and I set the tent up in our apartment. We are so exited to try it outside the next time we go camping. We were able to get it 3/4 set up but the tent base is larger than the floor space in the living room - the largest room we have - so using our imaginations it looks absolutely awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dry, Roomy and packs up easy Our first trip camping with this tent we got hit by torrential rain which lasted all day. To add to it the tent was pitched on a sloped area so rain water was running down to it. I was sure we’d have moisture somewhere but the tent was bone dry. When I stepped inside I could feel a puddle under the tent floor but not a drop seeped through! We used the footprint which no doubt helped so I would recommend it. The tent my two sons were in had puddles- not an LL Bean tent so that one went to the garbage after our trip ;-) We’ll be replacing it with an LL Bean tent for sure. I’ll also add that the tent was very roomy, my husband and I had a queen sized air mattress along with all our clothing and shoes and had room to walk around the bed. It was also compact to travel with and really easy to pitch. Highly recommend...!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tent This is my second summer with this tent, great, durable, waterproof tent, hope to have it for many years! My one complaint, all of my other llbean tents included yellow stakes, but not this one, and when it got windy (thunderstorm) my tent flipped over, gear and all, because the metal stakes changed direction and let the tent go..... luckily the tent survived! Great tent but you may want to purchase better stakes!
