Flattering shape
Hard to find a vest the right length to cover enough! This one is prefect and I have it in every color. I like that it is slightly fitted. Because the sides are stretchy, this vest doesn’t add bulk to your silhouette. I wear this all year in California. It is not too heavy except for the hottest summer days. Pockets are roomy. The only feature I don’t care for is the hood so I cut them off.

Zipper struggles are real
Received this vest as a gift. Within a month the zipper failed. I now just keep the vest zipped half way and I step in and out of it. Unless you are looking for a step-in/ step out vest, I would avoid this product, at least until LLBean openly addresses the flaw.

Too thin, faulty zipper
This definitely is packable…there’s almost nothing to it! I put it on and feel like a sweatshirt provides more warmth. I think this is more for looks than utility.
The zipper issues mentioned in so many reviews are right. It’s surprising that LL Bean would allow this thing into production.

Great shape
Unfortunately I fell between two sizes and the zippers were an issue on both vests. I loved the shape of the vest but didn’t end up with one. I’ll try it again next year!

Zipper and sides
The zipper is really difficult, I read reviews about it but thought maybe I'd get a good one. I have another LL B vest that doesn't have the stretchy sides (panels?) and like it a lot more than this. I do like the length though.

Love a longer vest and this one is perfect. Very warm yet light. I am 5'6 and about 140 lbs and a small fits perfect. Falls below buttock. Would buy again. Nice quality. Very comfortable.

Nice vest. I love it and wear it often. It is a bit shorter looking on me than in the photos but I'm tall and it's still longish just not long. The zipper sticks some but it doesn't seem like it's going to break. I just have to get it lined up a certain way sometimes. Overall, I'm glad you I bought it though. It looks good.
