Good fit
I wear a small and this parka fits well (I’m 5’7” and weigh 127). I appreciate that it is longer than most parkas and that the hood is detachable. After two wearings I expect it will keep me warm when winter returns.

Great except for one thing
Wonderful warm coat. just the right length and waterproof. Only bad thing is the snaps that hold the hood on. .... actually the snaps that DON'T hold the hood on. They unsnap with the slightest movement. Fortunately, the Velcro tabs at the very ends of the hood hold it securely so it doesn't come completely off, but the wind creeps in at your neck when the hood unsnaps. I really don't use the hood much so I love the parka.

Mountain Classic Down Parka Men's Tall
The Mountain Classic Down Parka Men's coat was a Christmas present to my husband. Since his cancer, he can't tolerate the cold and this coat is warm and light to wear. It also has a nice style to it.

bad design
I hate this jacket.
- the bottom zipper jams constantly. it gets both caught in material and gets jammed at the very bottom. This is my biggest complaint. It's bad enough I'll be getting a different jacket next winter.
- The collar is too short, neck is exposed
- it's too tight to zip up all the way
- the main pockets are too shallow. Your wrists will stick out. And if gloves stored in pocket they easily fall out
- the interior chest pocket is small. iPhone 16 Pro fit but barely
- the buttons are too hard to attach, need two hands to use them

Great Hooded Parka
Have always loved Beans down outerwear. This does not disappoint. My last bean coat is over 8 years old and still going strong. Just needed something a little longer with a hood. This fit the bill. The softness of the nylon is even better than the older coat. Can’t recommend Bean and this coat enough. Love it.

Very nice Parka- a couple issues
This replaced my previous everyday winter coat. It is very nice, but does have a couple issues-- the arms seem to be right on the edge of being too short (I don't have this problem with any coats or shirts), and while it has one interior zipper, it would be nice to have another-- and the front pockets are small and shallow.... so you can not confidently put things like a phone or keys in them

Love the tall sizes!
Love LL Bean tall sizes and the coat is a great fit for my tall, thin, husband. The coat gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars because the lining of the sleeves comes out over his hand when he puts the coat on. It would not stop us for buying it again! Otherwise warm and comfortable.

Excellent Value, super comfortable and lightweight
I bought this for a single purpose, to walk my dog in the early hours, but I've begun wearing it for all purposes. It's light and slips on very easily. Its been single digits cold in the northeast this year and this provides good coverage and warmth. The only issue is the pockets which have very little vertical depth, so I worry about losing keys and wallet. Washes and dries very well. All buttons, pull strings and zippers are high quality. You are not going to win a fashion contest here - but it's my favorite coat and I wear it everyday.

Great purchase
A lifesaver! I bought this coat for my husband to wear for attending outdoor football games, but it also saved his life (at least I think so!) He went out to walk our dog and slipped in the driveway, landing on his back and hitting his head. I think the thick padding of the coat, (particularly the hood), probably prevented a more serious injury. So it's now his favorite coat - mine too - thanks, LL Bean!

Very warm and Light weight! Many pockets!
My husband is very happy with this coat. It is very warm and surprisingly very lightweight. It has a great inside pocket for cell phone etc. and
deep outside pockets for heavy gloves. The hood is sized well to cover but not obscure vision.

VERY NICE
Super soft and very comfortable. Fits great and kept me very warm in 25* wind chill. Appears to be made of top quality material but only time will tell. For now though, with the fit, color, comfort and price, I most certainly would buy this item again should the need ever arise.

Really shoddy
I bought this because it is longer than my north side of everest down jacket and would keep my butt warm when sitting on a cold bench waiting for a bus. Yes it is longer but compared to the north side of everest it has practically no loft. The north side of everest sleeve has over 2 inches of loft combined measured with a vernier caliper and the this jacket has 1 inche. One could never call this a puffy jacket. It just doesn't look puffy. With down loft is warmth. The only warmth this provide is the thin synthetic fabric shell. This is not a quality product. A cheap disposable fashion brand would be embarassed to sell it. This is claimed to be for cold weather. Really? Maybe cold weather in Hawaii. It deserves .01 star.

Warm and comfortable
This coat is light warm and comfortable...all the things I expect in a winter coat. We have been having single digit to teen temps (F) over the last couple weeks and I walk three miles each morning. Am so glad I got it this winter. Very good looking as well. I like that it is light, unlike many parkas that seem to weigh you down. Very pleased with this Parka.
I'm 5'7" and weigh 70kg. parka is a medium. Live in eastern Nebraska.

Fist well and warn, but strange smell
Bought it for my husband. He is tall and a little bit overweight, so it is really hard to find jacket that fits well. This parka suits him well and it is quite warm. But filling smells strange, mix of chemical smell and grease. I haven't washed it yet, so not sure if it will help.
