A classic is still a classic
The design of these limited edition classics only enhances their existing awesomeness. These are, of course, incredibly comfy and warm, and there's just no way to go wrong with these iconic boots. The fit is fine (choose the lower size if you have to decide), and I prefer the aesthetics of this edition, as well as the alternate leather. And that lining is so cozy! Living in the "snow belt," I'm looking forward to really putting these to the test.

I don't understand the hype. A bit disappointed.
I usually wear a size 10.5, so I ordered a 10 per the recommendation. Firstly, they are still too big, but I think a 9 would be way too tight. So it's a bit of an awkward middle spot.
Secondly, the cuff around the top is super uncomfortable, and like many others have said, the shape of the top of the boot is weird so it fits poorly.
Thirdly, the leather is doesn't match the picture; the texture and color are way different. Really disappointing because it's different than expected.

An absolutely beautiful boot!
I live in Chicago, and have no issues keeping warm to about 5-10 degrees F.
The mid rise upper and mid-weight materials makes walking enjoyable.
Wear a size 10.5 in New Balance and fit perfectly.

Bought these for my partner and they are a beautiful pair of boots! He got compliments on them everywhere we went. Worth the investment
Very well made boot with high quality materials and they easily tackled the recent blizzard here in New England, as expected from L.L. Bean. The suggestion from the manufacturer and reviewers to size down a full size from your normal footwear was accurate and still left me with enough room to swap out the cheap insoles for orthotics. Love that they're still made in Maine and look forward to rocking these for years to come!

Great product
These boots are well made, warm, waterproof, and comfortable. I have been wearing them everyday for a couple weeks now in rain, slush, and 10 inches of snow with temperatures as low as -4 degrees fahrenheit. Worth every penny.

I absolutely love these boots. The retro look is so cool. They kept my feet warm in the snow in an 8 degree day and they just feel good. The polar vortex was a great first 2 weeks to own these.The upper is made of great thick leather and the bottom is classic ll Bean construction. I could not be happier.
