Cheap substitute for the original 90% cotton
The fleece sticks to the underlying shirts, and is not nearly as comfortable than your sadly discontinued full zip sweatshirt. Zipper also stuck . Just seemed like a cheap substitute to the original excellent sweatshirt!

Fits perfectly . . . feels great . . . zipper needs getting used to (I find the "starter tab" too small !). The only other remark less than positive for this very comfortable shirt-jacket is the color I chose. The color l was hoping for was tan or beige or a shade of light brown. The color description I was given was some combination of "heather" or "olive". So, I was a bit disappointed to see it was really gray! Is it really necessary to avoid using common English color words?

Inconsistent sizes for sweaters and fleece jackets
It is a nice jacket but it has become very difficult to actually buy LL Bean clothing that fits the first time. I currently have a size Large Ragg wool sweater that fits great but I have a XL Mountain Classic fleece coat that is much too tight. So I upsized for a new Trail Fleece jacket but it is much too big so I gave up and returned it and canceled the other backordered item.

Perfect cool but not cold weather fleece jacket.
This is an extremely soft, light weight fleece. I returned XL for L which fits me perfectly. I love the color; it goes with my white hair and gray beard.

I agree--weird fitting
The sleeves are too snug to go over a dress shirt comfortably, they are also too long. The body is just an inch too short. Sure it's soft but I'm returning this.

Regular fit Sleeves are much too long
Avoid this unless you are very tall. I ordered Regular fit and the sleeves are much too long. (Seems like Regular fit should have been the Tall fit.) And since the sleeves do not have elastic at the wrist hem, it looks even worse when wearing it. I am returning it.

Runs small and slim fitting
Just received this today. Its at least one size smaller than it should be. It's very slim and should be at least 1-2 inches wider. It's also short which I guess is a result of it's overall smaller size.

Not up to L.L. Bean Standards, in My Opinion...
Looks cheap and flimsy. Extremely light-weight material. No drawstrings at waist; leaving it looking ballooned and flopping in the back. Sleeves also are open at the wrist. Won't buy this item again.
