Happy walking
These hiking poles have replaced my cane during my daily 40 minute walk. Both legs benefit from the added help and my arms are getting a workout too. This 82 year old is glad her daughter encouraged her to get them. I'm using the rubber tips because I'm walking on a country road. They came very little advice concerning the length at which to set them.

High marks from limited use
These sticks have only been used once, so far. During a seven-mile walk as part of the North/South Trail in RI, their performance was everything hoped for. They're lightweight, strong, and easy to extend and contract. They have my recommendation but keep in mind the limited use.

When they arrived I wasn't impressed. Thought they looked cheap. They sat in a corner for quite awhile. Then I opened the bag. They are extremely easy to extend and retract. Far superior to two other pairs I own. They hold and do not collapse with weight. All this sturdiness and still light weight. Glad I bought them.

The poles are very helpful on our winter snow.
The poles are lightweight and comfortable to use. They give stability to walking on hard packed snow. Once I tried the poles, I doubt I’ll walk without them. They were a good purchase.

Had to buy a cane for a painful knee that needs to be replaced. The cane was miserable! I became a L.L.BEAN consumer this past year...purchasing for the kids and etc. I decided to give the hiking poles a try. I am so pleased with my purchase. After about a week of using the poles, my knee has not been so painful! It's...bearable. Yes...I still need the knee replaced but I can live life with some ease now. Thank You for making good products that is worth our money.

GOOD QUALITY HIUKING POLES
Although this item was listed as women's hiking Poles. Due to a stroke I need very light weight hiking poles and these are perfect, yet very stable and great locking system. I guess I would say guys need to take advantage of these hiking poles. Other poles I tried were bulky and too heavy for me. Thanks great product and it is perfect for me. Alex

A Great Help!

Super light but strong
I finally upgraded my 22-year old Leki's when the spinning lock mechanism failed. I was skeptical of getting anything but Leki's, but figured I'd give LLBean a shot. These are awesome. So light and they adjust so quick and easily - even with mittened-hands! I've put all of my weight on them (unintentionally, of course) and they held up just fine. Hopefully they last as long as my old Leki's, because I sure like them 100x better!!
