Great base layer for warm days

Form Fitting!
This is a true mid-layer player. Very warm and form-fitting. I wear it with my down jacket and it's good for 30ish morns. The collar zips my neck perfectly. I can see this working for any outdoor activity as either a stand alone or a layer. I'm a cyclist so I should get some serious mileage said and done. LL Bean still traffics in quality.

Attractive light weight jersey
The jersey fit well, and seemed well made, but I have only worn it once. I want to alert other customers that this shirt is much lighter than other similar shirts LLBean has sold. It should really be labeled as a light weight jersey. The pattern is not woven into the fabric, like a sweater is made, but rather printed on the front of the fabric so I do not know how well it will wear.

Great base layer
Being tall and liking my clothes to be fitted, or at least not baggy, I find all of LL Bean’s Tall/Medium products to fit well and be long enough for my gangling arms.
The fit of this is quite snug, but it should be, as it is a base layer. A good stretch to it as well, good for being active. Very warm as well.

Great under a sweater
Feb here in Colorado and just came in from snow shoveling with this baselayer under a sweater. Right at freezing and felt good. I bought my first one last fall, and based on my experiences through the winter wanted to have a 2nd one in a different color.
#1 kudos to llbean for having this in Medium Tall. Fits me perfectly 6' 165# long arms.
I have two heavy collared and a couple light hoodie sweaters that are my 'go to' for outdoor Rocky Mtn activities. Having the thumb holes to keep the sleeves in place when pulling on the sweaters is a big plus.
With this under any of the sweaters I'm perfectly set for active use down to freezing, and with a wind breaker over the top - down to zero. It works by itself too. This morning I came back from a gym workout and really enjoyed just wearing this baselayer (in the somewhat cool gym). (Just bench pressing - would be a bit warm for heavy duty aerobic workout ). Again the thumb holes keep the sleeves in place, both working out and get dressed.
And,,,,, it was cool in the house last night so I wore it to bed as a PJ top. Nice having something on the neck.
Soooo, bottom line - this is a really versatile, 'go to' garment - I'm really getting my money's worth out of; and recommend to anyone reading this.

Perfect layering shirt. The fit is spot on and the comfort is unmatched. My only concern is the stitching around the thumb holes catches on my dry skin but as long as I am careful its not a concern.

Fantastic mid-weight layer. Fits close but not too tight. Thumb holes are great. Comfortable and great quality you’d expect from Bean. The price is great when you look at other similar product out there. Well made and well finished. Really satisfied when I opened up the package and tried them on.
