We love this coat
I’ve purchased 3 over these jackets over the years. They’re so warm and I love the colors. I think it runs large because twice I went off ll bean’s size chart and each time I had to do an exchange because they were comically too big. I went down a size and still got two years out of the smaller size. I gave it 4 stars because the fuzzy lining gets matted down over time. I tried putting it in the dryer with tennis balls to fluff it but the area around the neck and back is still flat.

Warm and so practical
My daughter wears this jacket to the barn, to birthday parties, or on hikes with our family. It’s always so warm and soft. If it gets stinky from the horses and the mud, I just put it in the washing machine and it looks great again. I will definitely buy her another one.

I was looking for a warm everyday winter jacket for my 5 year old grandson. This was the perfect choice.
True to sizing & great colors. It's easy for him to get on himself and the zipper works very smoothly. I liked that the inside of the body of the jacket is fleeced lined for extra warmth and softness and it has a hood. He did too! Excellent quality , highly recommend. Thank you L.L.Bean!

It’s a thing I paid money for
I was looking for a warm jacket roughly around $100 for my kid who will grow out of it by the end of the winter anyways.
The first one we really wanted was solid pink but that was sold out so this one is pretty close and reminded me of ski jackets from the 90s so I convince my kid that it was actually really super cool and better than the pink jacket.
So far she likes it, and wears it every day. Mostly because it’s cold The alternative is to freeze every day, but I think she likes it.

Narrow Under Arms
Great, warm coat but unfortunately a bit narrow under the arms. It fit very snug with just a regular T-shirt on. It would be way too tight with any kind of sweater or sweatshirt. Sizing up will not work as the arms are long. We ordered my son’s usual llbean size, this jacket just fit differently.

Durability Issue
We overall love this coat - beautiful colors, nice fit, and snuggly liner. However, the outer layer already has a tear on the sleeve with less than a month of wear. This is very disappointing, as were hoping to invest in a quality item that would last for several years and also be a hand-me-down item to our younger child

This is a great jacket for kids, very warm and comfortable, and the colors are nice. My daughter chose the pink and it's very pretty. She likes the fleecy lining and how light yet warm the jacket is. The hood is nice for chillier days. She wishes it were a few inches longer, but otherwise, it's a very nice jacket.
