Cozy and warm vest. Love it!
I bought the mountain classic fleece vest for my 13 yr old grandson. A medium fits him very comfortably. He loves it. It’s cozy warm and so light weight. I like that it washes well, and it will last for years. I am happy with this purchase.

Men’s vest fists perfect. LL Bean does not have much of a selection for tall women’s outer wear so was hesitant in purchasing this vest. I do not regret my purchase totally love it.

Disappointed.
Nice color, but a little disappointed. Much thinner fleece than previous models. Wish they still had the chest pocket with vertical zipper. Most disappointing is that the fabric feels like it has a defect in the nap. Not the old LL Bean quality.

Mountain Classic Fleece Vest
Nice vest, fits great and loved the rainforest color, but vest is made of polyester instead of cotton which I prefer more. Think polyester is a cheap fabric. Don't like the feel of it. Returned the vest for a refund.

Where did inside pockets go?
This is the third one of these vests going back maybe 20 years. Very disappointed that there are no inside pockets in this version. Also, the zipper tends to snag at the seam half way up. I'm debating whether to cancel the other vest thats on backorder but will try this one for a couple days first.

Great product - excellent fit and finish
I literally wear this all the time - in the office, running errands, weekends at the rink or outside in the yard. Fits perfectly, slightly fitted but it's fleece, so it doesn't feel confining at all. One minor improvement would be adding a drawstring to the bottom hem. Other than that, you can't do much better, and it's a good value at this price.

The size I usually order (XXL) was too small and tight for the usual L L Bean merchandise. Changing the size to a 3XL was a much better fit for me and my build. I would encourage ordering a size up for comfort.
