LLB cargo shorts are too long
The problem with these shorts is that they are too long. I want a 6" (or 8") inseam, and LLB doesn’t make them. They do make "tropic-weight" cargo shorts with a 6" inseam, but only with waist size at least 34", which is too big for me. Why cannot LLB vary the sizes more?????

Great hard working shorts.
These are high quality, well made shorts with lots of storage. I wear them all summer for most activities. I have found the shorts to be more durable than other comparibly priced shorts from other sellers.

Restrictive fit
Really wanted to like these shorts, but the cut of the short is restrictive in the lower hip and upper thigh region. Just not comfortable to wear. Will be returning them.

Premium product for the price!
These men's shorts are well constructed and feature seven pockets, including one inside zipper pocket. Previously, this model had two inside zipper pockets, giving it eight pockets, and I regret the loss of that additional inside pocket. On the positive side, I appreciate that the shorts now have snap buttons instead of the old loop buttons, which made fastening the back pockets while wearing the shorts difficult. I would love to have the eighth pocket back! Overall, I consider these cargo shorts an excellent buy.

I like the fit and construction of these shorts. I don't like the snaps for the pockets. The velcro and button closures are much better, easier to use.

Good Design: Very poor-quality material!
Bought a pair and liked them enough to purchase a second pair. Unfortunately, after a wearing a few times, the material wore out and began to rip. My other shorts typically last for several years. Expected to get a similar lifespan from these. Don't buy if you plan on using them for any length of time.

Great looking shorts.
These are the best, most durable, functional cargo shorts I've ever had. We do a lot of traveling with our camper and I love the fact the picket closures are tough snaps and NOT Velcro. That enhances the pocket functionality making access to myriad items I'm often carrying.

fabric is weak
First time I buttoned the left side cargo pocket, then tried to unbutton it, the material the button is sewn to, RIPPED OUT. Now the buttons will be forever together and I can't close the pocket. NOT what I expected from a $70 pair of LLB shorts to say the least!

Good shorts, but no longer great
Good shorts but miss some of older style features. Zipper pockets on both sides, buttons rather than snaps. Should be reinforced at stress points at belt loops and pockets. Don't last like the lifetime warranty years.

Tough as Nails A Great Mens Short
A great short. Love the zippered right pocket. Heavy weight, durable cotton material. I bought two pairs. I wear a 35 waist in the LL Bean Tropic Weight pant products. Bought a 35 with this product and it's about one inch too big at waist. It never shrunk in the wash, so I definately should have went down a size in this short, but cinches up fine with a belt. Liked this short so much I bought two.

Bought 3rd Pair for my husband. These are great shorts. They are canvas material, wash & dry great. Long lasting. Come in in-between sizes, very comfortable. Need to come in more colors & I will buy more!

Bean got bad
These used to be well made. The snap for the pocket broke out the second time I unsnapped it. The belt loop on the side pulled out just as quickly. These were robust back when they were first made. Now they're cheap. Bean... you've been cutting corner and cheapening your merchandise.
