Warmth for better sleeping in winter
I knew LL Bean flannel lasts and looks good for the long haul, so I was pleased to get this full-length nightgown for Christmas, in a soft, light plaid. It fits exactly and I'm so happy with it. Plus, it makes a warm buffer from those below 0 nights we can have in the winter.

Cozy and comfy
I purchased this after I had knee surgery in winter and couldn’t wear pants at first. It is very warm and comfortable, and long enough to cover my legs all the way to the ankles. The colors are beautiful and the sizing generous. Would definitely recommend.

We have bought these for 20 years or more and they were great. Now the flannel is skimpy and thin - nothing like before. I wear a petite large and it fit like a tent. I’m disappointed with LLB.

Best flannel nightgown.
I love these flannel nightgowns. The main reason is the neckline. It keeps your chest and shoulders covered and warm. So many nightgowns are v-neck or ballet neckline. Too much skin is exposed. Also the length is the best. Length is to the ankle.

I own several of these nightgowns and they are pretty, wonderfully warm, and wear well. But pockets in something you sleep in? I always cut out the pockets and sew up the seam before wearing.

Pockets? Really?
I ordered this night gown in a S instead of XS, which is what I usually order. So, the gown is very roomy, which I really like. The one thing that through me was that it has pockets! I have never had a gown with pockets. I am not sure if I like them or not. I suppose if I walked around my house in just this gown, the pockets would come in handy. But I don't!

Disappointed with Quality (Ripped/Thin Fabic)
I was excited to find a flannel, black watch nightgown. This is my 3rd winter and really did not wear it that much. The fabric has thinned and I found a tear on the sleeve today. For the price, this was expected to last at least 5 years. I will not invest in another. Very disappointed!

Lovely, long, a favorite
I really like these warm, long nightgowns in the winter and shoulder seasons which isn’t hard here in Alaska. The Rob Roy is my favorite but just reived the Washed Buchanan which is soft shades of several colors that I find richer than seeing it on line. Love it. The only issue I have is these nighgowns pill over time despite my having tried so many ways to stop or prolong that. No luck. I still really like these and have not found a better warm nightgown.

The LL Bean name stands for quality....Not so much
I have been purchasing LL Bean Women's Plus Scotch Plaid Pintuck Flannel Nightgowns for many years and have been very satisfied. They used to be made of a high quality, heavy flannel, but this one is not made of the same heavy quality flannel as my past nightgowns, which I am still wearing. If the LL Bean company is going to charge such a high price, then please use high quality materials. The LL Bean name has always been known for quality... I'm not impressed with my recent purchase.

The description said "generous fit" and they weren't kidding! I ordered Large as I would for a t-shirt, and probably could have gotten by with Medium. And I was surprised to see that it had pockets. Otherwise, OK.

Flannel Nightgown, little too long, but very soft.
Love the soft fabric and comfort when sleeping. Wish you offered this style and color in a mid calf or just below the knee length. This length is a tripping hazard when going up the stairs. I had to shorten it to make it more comfortable for me.
