Perfect weight
Great robe for an extra layer that's warm without getting too hot, so it will be wearable in multiple seasons. I got the Washed Buchanan color/pattern and the colors are so pretty! I hope they get more in stock, I wouldn't mind having a second one. The 2x was true to size for me at a curvy 5'7" and 220lbs. The length is slightly long out of the bag, but cotton flannel always shrinks in the dryer so I expect that was intentional (and appreciated).

Soft and comfy!
This robe is so soft and comfortable! I am used to a fluffy fleece robe so I was worried I’d miss the coziness, but it has been so nice! My only complaint would be that the tie easily loosens as I wear it, but it is very easy and comfy and I would recommend!

Perfect in every way!
I love this robe because 1) it’s soft and 2) it’s warm without being heavy. The fit is perfect for me and I’m tall, which is a plus. I bought the matching nightgown and, together, I’m very warm sitting around my house in cold Wisconsin winters. Couldn’t be happier. As always, LL Bean delivers on fit, function and quality/value.

Vibrant flannel colors
Awesome robe. Nice weight - not too light, not too heavy. Colors are vibrant. I probably could have gotten an XS, but the S works. Haven't washed it yet, that'll be the real test. So far so good!

Excellent purchase ! This robe is light, soft and cozy .It is very long so I roll up the sleeves. I could wear this the whole day long ! Love it so much I purchased a second one . I bought this robe for my daughter. The fit and the comfort are fine; however, I was appalled that on a robe this expensive, and with the L.L. Bean name and reputation, that the plaid did not match at the side seams. It makes the robe look cheap.

Not like they used to be
Not like they used to be. I had a beautifully made LL Bean robe that I wore for over 20 years before it was falling apart. This was not made nearly as well, and while I’m told it is the same weight as the one I had, it doesn’t hang or wear like the old one did. I returned it. It is soft, but the lack of finishing on the seams of the collar and the difference in the fabric made it seem cheaply made. I found a better weight and better made robe elsewhere!

Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe Checks All The Boxes
I'm wearing the robe as I write this review! I'd been looking to replace my flannel robe from 1997 for years. I was hesitant to choose an LL Bean robe due to past experience with the flannel being thick and unforgiving and hot. But this robe checked all the boxes! Warm. Not too thin, not too thick. Soft. Very soft. Beautiful color. Definitely Just Right!

Perfect Winter Robe
The flannel is just right. It’s not too heavy and it’s very warm, soft and comfortable. I am 150 lbs. and 5’4”and bought a size large petite. It’s very roomy and the perfect length. I wish I bought this earlier when it first got cold!

Perfect fit for Petites, soft and comfortable
This robe is a lighter flannel than an LLBean flannel robe bought years ago for my husband, but is the perfect weight for cool evenings/mornings down South. The petite sizing fit me perfectly as I am 5’3”
and it was long but not too long, very soft and comfortable. I loved the dark plaid, a lovely Christmas gift.

Sooooo disappointed in you LLBean
I needed a new LLBean flannel bathrobe. It had served me well. But it had a few too many holes after about 10 or more years. So I put one on my Christmas list. And I got one. So disappointed. This was a women's version of the flannel bathrobe that I had before. Little did I know that LLBean provides much more in a robe designed for men than it does for women. This feels more like a spring or even summer bathrobe than something that will be keeping me warm this winter. Too bad. Really a drop in quality.

Quality Not As Expected
I was really hopeful about this robe, as I have been looking for a flannel robe for some time. Although the colors are pretty, the fabric is rough and the weight is very thin, definitely not warm and cozy.
Returned it, and will continue the search.

I love this Robe!
I love the texture, the length and the color of this robe, I bought it to fit a little oversized and it’s perfect. I washed and dried it once and it shrink a tiny bit and feels perfect. I highly recommend.
