Our Storm Chaser Slip-Ons perform the way high-tech all-weather shoes should, only they're lighter and sleeker - with all the comfort of sneakers. The rugged rubber outsole is not only built for stability, but flexibility too; the cushioned EVA midsole ensures all-day ease - and both are built from the same materials as top-of-the-line walking and running shoes.
- Synthetic mesh fabric lining for moisture management and fast drying.
- Removable polyurethane foam insole with Cleansport NXT antimicrobial treatment for odor control.
- Waterproof leather upper with TEK2.5® waterproof membrane and rubber bottom keep feet dry.

Great garden shoes
I bought these to work in my garden. Very sturdy shoes and I love the Vibram soles. I don’t wear them in the house as they warn that the soles could leave marks on floors. They seem water proof or at least water resistant. I have them on when working in some standing water and my feet don’t get wet.

Great Boot to Wear at the Barn in Cold Weather
I wear this boot at my horse barn in wet, cold weather. The traction is great in slippery conditions. They are also comfortable enough for short hikes. Easy to slip on and off. My previous pair lasted several years.

Wish they kept making what I like.
Things never stay the same. Really wanted to purchase my 5th pair of insulated Mocs with Artic grip soles. For some unknown reason LL Bean dropped the line and consequently lost my immediate following. They always tend to run out of stock or sizes of the alternative too. I had to purchase something I didn’t really like and that item turned out to be too narrow because it was made of rubber.

Sloppy weather protection
I chose a size 13 as a 12 was too small. Could've used a 12 1/2. A little too loose fitting. Bought to handle the sloppy days of winter when walking the dog. It serves its purpose.

Just what I wanted - good purchase
I was looking for something practical that offered decent traction and waterproof. These Storm Chasers gave me exactly that and more. I’ve been able to wear them all day when outside and walking the dog through the woods - very comfortable and gave me the stability in uneven ground when I needed it.

Excellent traction.
Love the boots. Easy to slip on and head out. I suggest order a half size more if you wear wool socks with these boots. Traction is very good. This sole is worth the extra expense.

Love everything about this boot, BUT the heel is too loose. The toe is tight, but felt like it would hold my foot well. However, my heel slips up on every single step. I am wearing medium thick hiking socks, but if I go any tighter, the toes will be overly tight.

My normal size is 10; after reading reviews I purchased both 10 and 10.5 sizes....I'm going to keep the 10.5, it's just a tad loose in the heel but the front width/length is spot on- the size 10 was just a bit too short and narrow (too tight). Update to follow on shoes performance, build quality seems quite good.-

When it gets icy out you need these shoes.
Excellent shoe for the Winter weather! We had a snowy, windy and icy winter here in Maine and I wouldn’t go out without these shoes on. Great fit. Kept me warm and dry. And the Arctic Grip is amazing.

Arctic Grip was the Selling Point
I purchased these as a gift for my husband, who has a tendency to slip & fall. The Arctic Grip was the reason I chose them for him, and also the ability to slip on. They do well on the icy driveway! He does have a slightly wide foot, and also high. It does take him a bit of an effort to get them on, but once on his foot they fit perfect.
