In 1936 when Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced these shoes, he compared them to the unique comfort of a handmade Native American moccasin. That soft, custom-made feel is still apparent in each shoe sewn today.

Love these
I’m 55. Wore these back in high school and still think they are a classic looking shoe. Only complaint is that the shoe strings are way too long. Without tying them I have about 12 inches on both sides. It looks stupid once tied so I’m probably gonna have to just cut them with a pair of scissors.
