Poorly designed for a jacket
This would have been perfect for cool weather walks except that it is designed without a slit to allow access to attach either the leash or harness. It is too heavy to wear like a sweater inside the house and too bulky to put the harness on top. I immediately returned it.

The winter wrap
This sweater is wonderful for my little dog. So easy to put on and take off. I bought one a little bigger so it covers her back side completely so it is really nice and warm.

It fits!
We bought the large for our dog, a redtick coonhound, based on the sizing guidelines and it fits him! He is hard to fit as he has a broad chest but is skinny elsewhere. The Velcro closures help to make it fit him. He is always cold and he loves the coat so much that we ordered another!

Nice product
The product is very nice, looking and functional. I would’ve given it five stars except for the fact that the product came with a snap on the pocket broken. Therefore, the pocket could not be snap closed. It was an important enough feature to have it replaced. Overall our product is good.

Both the dog and the human are happy
This fleece jacket meets both the dog's requirements and the human's. We both like that it does not have to be pulled over her head. Instead the velcro fasteners are quick and easy to close around her neck and her belly. Apparently it is warm enough....the dog has not complained or shivered. The dog is a 20 pound miniature schnauzer and the medium size fits her.The only reason to give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the neck flap is a bit too long, but the one around her belly is just right.

Just in time for winter!
Bought this for a Christmas present for Maggie, our boxer mix. Always ended up returning other dog coats/sweaters because they didn’t allow for her large chest and thin waste OR they made too much noise when she walked. This coat worked for her both in size for her build and the soft fleece fabric. She loves anything fleece when it’s cold!

My furry friend loves this jacket
Really super nice jacket for my furry friend. It is easy on and off. Heidi doesn't mind wearing her sweater fleece jacket at all. It is great for camping, hiking a to wend quick walks. She stays toasty warm and has complete freedom of movement. I had one for her and bought a second so there is always one close at hand!

Dog sweater disappoints
Very disappointed in this sweater. The Velcro around the neck is too short, making the neck opening too large. The coat slides down the back of the dog while walking. The fabric is also very light, not much warmth. Thus product is not up to the quality that I expect from LL Bean.

Bigger than I thought
This jacket is nice, but I feel like it's a little bigger than I imagined. I have a Westie and got a medium and it's a little big on him. I wish I would I would have gotten a small.

No problem exchanging
Bought this sweater jacket for my pup. It was just a little too small. Reached out to exchange the jacket and it went very smoothly! He loves his bigger jacket and it just right for the chillier days but not freezing!

No opening for leash
I guess I should have looked at the one star reviews. Almost all mentioned the absence of an opening for attachment of leash to collar. I returned this item after I examined it.

A very nice well-made coat! Easy to get on, too!
This is a very nice coat for our dog. He is a big boy (almost 60 pounds) so I ordered a large size. It fits well around his neck, but is a little tight around his tummy, but it works fine for our daily walks. He looks quite dapper in the red and black plaid coat! A well-made coat, but I wish it had a fleece backing to provide a little more warmth.

Excellent product
Great jacket for when it gets really cold. It is easy to put on, has velcro adjustments that can be made. Only issue is if you do not tighten the velcro enough it slips to the side but not really an issue.

Nice for cooler weather
Just received this for my furry friend. Wish i had ordered a large the nedium is a little short but will continue to use. Also using a harness is difficult with no opening for the D ring to go thru. It is easy to use however as putting it on and taking off.
