Quality was not up to what I expected
The quality of these belts isn't what I expect (and pay for) from L.L.Bean. The leather on these belts is about half as. thick as other jean belts I've bought here in the past. It seems everything has been outsourced to foreign makers who care more about profit than quality. Sad.

Not Just a Jeans Belt

Sizing is all wrong
For some reason LL Bean sizes their belts wrong, and in a way I've never seen anywhere else. I have a 33/34 waist, LL Bean's sizing chart said I should get a 34-inch belt, that's what I ordered and received...but that's NOT the waist size of the belt; it's the total length of the belt. I'm guessing that what I actually need is probably a 37 or 38. But I won't be buying clothing based on nothing more than a sizing guess. Returning the two belts I bought. Lesson learned.
