Nice dress—great for casual
I like the muted browns and greens of this dress. There are times when I like to go places without a purse, so I appreciate the deep side pockets for my phone and the few the things I need to carry. There are also two upper pockets with buttons on the front. I think of them as only decorative and don't use them, but if you wanted to keep something more secure like a key or driver's license/ID, they are perfect for that.

Cute Scenic print dress
To be honest, I bought this dress because fabric pattern it reminded me of curtains in the house I grew up in....many years ago. It's a very versatile dress, can be worn in summer w/sleeves rolled up or in the winter w/boots and a sweater vest.

Cute simple dress
Simple dress but oh so cute . Every time I wear it I get compliments. I'm over 60 and it's is the perfect length. Wish the belt had a little more substance to it. I have the light blue denim color and it is perfect weight for three seasons out of the year. I'm amazed how much I pop it on !

Great dress for any occasion
Great material, lightweight but sturdy. Larger in the chest, but not too big. Hips are a bit snug so when I sit down, it pulls at the buttons. If I went up a size, I think the top would be too big. I plan to sew the dress shut so I don't have any issues. I have this issue with another button up dress I have from another company, which is roomier in the hips, and still pulls when I sit.

Bird nerd dress
It still runs a little big (boxy/untailored), as Bean clothes tend to do, but I got a lot of compliments on it when in Hawai'i. People assumed it was a really tasteful Hawai'ian shirt design. I just liked the birds on it.

Too small but also too large
I should know better than to order these kinds of button up shirt dresses. With my pear shaped body they never work. I said “too small” on the sizing review but the truth is the dress was somehow too big (around the waist area there was so much billowy fabric) and too small (the buttons were pulling at the legs and chest). Maybe stay away if, like me, you are rocking a 14 inch difference or more between your waist and hips.
