Comfortable but after one wearing it stretches out quite a bit. Would like it more if this did not happen. I probably will use them for yard work.

Great pants, odd color
I recently purchased the dark taupe pants and they look exactly like the sage pants online and in the catalog. I asked multiple people to look and they said the same - that it looks like the sage, not dark taupe. I ordered a replacement pair and the result is the same? Otherwise, I really love the pants, cool, comfortable, great fit, but didn’t really want green pants!

Size inconsistent; love the pants
I have quite a few pair of the ankle length and love them; Love the feel, love the comfort, love the colors, love that they stay looking neat-and no ironing needed. Then I purchased a pair in medium Tall for a longer length for winter. The first pair medium Tall fit great, so I ordered another pair, same size, and they were way too tight! I am trying again today and really hoping the medium Tall will fit correctly, if not, I'm done with LL Bean; Sizing shouldn't be a hit or miss.

My go-to travel pants
As someone who travels as lightly as possible, I am traveling with just two pairs right now for a 25-day trip, and they are perfect. I go all day in these pants paired with sneakers, and the navy color makes them dressy enough to pair with ballet flats for dinner in the evening in a restaurant. They are lightweight enough to hand-wash in the sink and drip dry overnight. The pockets at the sides of the thighs are well-place and deep; I ran through an airport and my lip balm did not fall out. And I appreciate having a zippered back pocket although I have not used it yet. Another reviewer mentioned that the seams at the knees feel strange when she walks; that was true for me initially, but I got used to the feeling. I think the seams are there to give the pants shape and keep them from getting baggy at the knees. I am 5’4” and 105 pounds but sized up to a Regular Small so that the pants have lots of ease for eating and maybe gaining a few pounds during my trip! The drawstring waist is great.

My very favorite pants
I have five pairs of the VentureStretch ankle pants in size medium, regular 27 in. But this year, I decided I also want a longer version of these for cooler days, so I've just begun purchasing them in the Medium tall 29 in., which gives me 2 more inches...perfect! Yesterday, I purchased the granite color, and next, I want the shore sand. I WISH L.L. Bean still sold the navy color that was closer to true navy than the color now offered which is Nautical Navy [although I did purchase the nautical navy that matches perfectly to one of my floral tops; still, I'm not crazy about this color]. VentureStretch pants are soooo comfortable, and I never need to iron them, a huge plus! I Wash on cold and dry on low.
