Beautiful blanket
I only use 100% cotton for all my bedding, including an all cotton quilt for the colder months. I was on the hunt for a cotton gauze blanket for the warmer weather. I purchased a few from another vendor , and although they were also 4 layer gauze, those were much thinner, loosely woven and had much less weight to them. This one from LLBean is beautiful! It is very soft, tightly woven and even though it has a little more weight to it, it isn’t too heavy. It washed and dried very well with no shrinkage, and fits my queen sized bed perfectly. The Moonlight Blue is such a pretty color and, depending on the lighting in the room, appears darker than what you see on the website. I would have preferred navy, but I think this color works in my room. I also wish they offered white that I could use at the bottom of my bed. The white one in the picture is a cotton blanket, but not muslin gauze. I’ve been using it for the past week and the temperature in my room at night is in the mid 60s. It is surprisingly warm enough with just a top sheet and this blanket. I probably would be able to use this year round by adding just another layer or two. It is made in Portugal, whereas, most of the other muslin blankets I was shopping for, are made in China. The quality of this blanket far surpasses all the others. It is just gorgeous and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful blanket
It is a great summer blanket - light in weight but warm in the A/C! It washed and dried quite nicely - be sure to wash by itself first as the color runs. I love this blanket!

Perfect for three Seasons
I absolutely love this Queen size blanket! The Sage color is refreshing after having heavy winter quilts on and gets us in the mood for Spring and Summer. Its heavy enough to keep the chill off but light enough that you don't sweat. It also stays in place. I would recommend this purchase.

Surprisingly Warm but Light for Summer
This is the BEST summer weight blanket for the South! It’s lightly insulating without weight - it’s surprising!! I got the sage green and it mixes really well with my soft, minty, grey-green walls!

Perfect blanket
I bought this as a summer blanket for my toddler, as he is a very hot sleeper. It is WONDERFUL. It is heavy and feels high quality but it is light and breathable - does that make sense? It is exactly what I was looking for. I've washed it many times, my toddler has rough housed with it for years, and it has held up really well. I am very happy with this!!

Great Lightweight Blankets!
I was skeptical when I ordered two of these blankets to be used as bedspreads for our twin beds, but they are wonderful. The weight is perfect for the cool nights we’ve been having in central Florida so I’ve been very happy. I’m thinking they might even be ok for year round use; fingers crossed because they are so comfortable! Thanks, LL Bean!
