Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purchased three pair, each fit differently Bought three pairs petite 14, each fit differently at the waist. Each had to be shorten as i'm 4"10". why are the pants 28" for petites? Have to use a belt. But I do like the pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Found the right size Finding a pair of pants that fit well gets ever more challenging as the decades pass. I tried size 10 and size 12, regular and petite and found that the 10 regular fits best for me. I'm 5'5" (they are just a tad long), weigh 140 lbs and carry more weight in my bottom than on my top. Hope this review is helpful to someone in terms of sizing

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High-rise, not mid-rise These pants are actually high-waisted, not mid-rise. Fabric is nice but the pants are too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for I was looking for pants in this color which are a little hard to find. The fabric in these pants is very soft, very comfortable and drapes well. The length for me is perfect. If they ever made a skinny leg style in this fabric, it would be perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too high in waist. These pants were beautifully made and just what I wanted but the waist came up over my ribs. I think they would have fit nicely except for that. As a 30 year Bean shopper I’ve worn classic fit until recently. Then I discovered the lower cut fit well, as in the linen wide leg pants. So I’m not sure why these didn’t fit the same. They seemed great pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Updated fabric not an improvement I have bought these pants for years. The most recent time I noticed that the fabric is very different from before and now the pants are made in Indonesia instead of India. The blend is almost the same (98/2 cotton/spandex vs 97/3 cotton/spandex) but the fabric is now much more stretchy - not at all a classic chino fabric. The pants are shorter than before. The worst thing is that the fabric pills wherever there is friction (e.g., crotch) and wears out very quickly. It's a huge disappointment that these pants don't last as long as they used to. The cargo pants have the same fabric, with the same problem and are also made in Indonesia. I won't be buying these again until L.L. Bean returns to the previous formula.
