The most comfortable shoes for wet or snow.
Great looking boot. Got the Bison hide version in my normal size to accommodate heavy socks in winter. Fit and feel great! My fifth pair - differing heights/fits for seasonal socks and to have at home and in our motorhome. Also have gum shoes version for use instead of dress shoes in wet or snowy weather.

Perfect
Love these boots. Exactly what i needed. I can go on 2 hr walks with my dogs in the rain and stay dry and comfortable. I wear orthotics so i only went a half size down, but wish i’d gone a full size down. A tad big, but totally fine with thicker socks.

Shearling lined
I bought the 8 inch Bison red sole shearling lined boots years ago. I have had them re soled 3 times. My favorite cold weather boots. I have been waiting years for the shearling lined to be made again?

Very Pleased
LL Bean knocked it out of the park with these boots. I took their guidance and sized down from an 11 to a 10 and the fit is perfect. They are comfortable out of the gate and have kept my feet dry which is what I needed out of this boot. I'm a big fan of bison leather and very happy with the quality. These boots are sewn together extremely well. Please extend my thanks to the team that puts them all together. Well done!

My favorite boots
I bought a pair in November 2017. It’s now April 2024 and they’re still the boots I wear most often. I have some taller Maine Hunting Shoes, some great K**n hiking boots, and some Sor*l C*ribous for when it’s really snowy, but these are what I come back to time and time again. The bison leather is great - it feels pre-broken-in, but isn’t showing any excessive wear after 7 seasons. Honestly, some of my other boots fit “better,” but I just leave these loose (look up “how to tie an Eastland knot” in YouTube) and then they slip on and off quickly.
I don’t think the bison leather ones come around all that often? I really recommend them. It’s also just cool having Bean Boots that are a different color than most others.

very happy
I had a cheap knockoff version of these boots before so when they wore out I thought why not get the originals? I was a bit taken back by the price difference, but after wearing them for the first time, I understood. Very nice leather and so well made! They look great too! very happy! I only wish they came with a better shoe lace. Im 8.5 and ordered a 9. they fit perfectly.
