Needs breaking in
I love this shoe! I've bought 3 pairs over the past few years, but I know with every pair there's a breaking-in period. Rather than take them on a long walk initially, I start by wearing them around the house, gradually increasing the time and distance I wear them until the leather stretches out enough that they no longer rub the wrong way against the back of my right heel. It's a short breaking-in period, but it's always there. Once it's over, they are so comfortable and easily handle the 5 miles my dog and I walk every day in addition to cycling (flat pedals) and wearing them throughout the day running errands, etc. I'll probably buy another pair next year and break those in too.

Love this shoe.
I bought these in the slate/cool sea blue and absolutely love them. I love the color and the comfort. Mine are several years old and I still love them. I am not crazy about the other colors offered which are the brown color or the off white. I also love the material. Please introduce another color. Most comfortable shoe in years. They have held up very well and do not hurt bunions. Win-Win!
