Cute, but strangely tight fit (go up 2 sizes??)
I deliberately sized up to a petite 10 despite currently fitting petite 8s in Bean and other brands. The 10P fit like a shrunken 8P. Not sure if deliberately tight style, but I wasn't a fan and sizing up again would mean they're way too long. Sadly, back they go.

Good jeans, fit not perfect for my body
Great jeans, fit could be better for me. The waistband is a bit tight, while the rest of the jeans fit well. I wish they were a tad longer; I'm 5 foot 6" and have never needed to buy tall sizes. Perhaps if the waist were a little looser they could sit lower and the length would be better. Size calculator was way off -- it said I should fit in a 6. I didn't believe that; bought an 8 and they are just barely large enough. The fabric is strong and I'm sure they'll be durable. Not as stretchy as some other jeans I've had.

Way too small in waist
Ordered my usual size from LLBean, 6. I have an older pair of jeans from LL Bean so I ordered the same size. The jeans that arrived are 4 inches smaller around the waist. I am returning them. I feel like an 8 would be too small as well. Don't feel like guessing what size I should re-order.

A perfect fit
These fit perfectly! I am about 5'9" and the medium tall is long enough without hitting the floor. I'm too old for 'skinny' jeans, and wider legs are too 'baggy-looking'. The bootcut is 'just right'. The mid-rise is the most comfortable for me (with other styles I have to 'roll over' the top!). I came of age in the '70s, so who of us isn't MOST comfortable in a pair of blue jeans?! ;-) Thanks, LLB
