Waistband should stretch
Love the fabric of these and the shorts part, but the waistband … there is no zipper or button, these are slip on. And when they’re on the waist for me fits fine. But it’s really hard to get them over my hips, which are a pretty standard proportion for a female body. Getting a larger size would result in poorly fitting shorts. I’m keeping them, but wish I’d paid attention to the reviews that said the waistband needed some stretch — they were right!

The waistband doesn’t stretch , the body of the shorts were great but the waist was too small.

My favorite shorts for the hot and humid weather
I love these shorts. They are extremely comfortable once you get them on. Thank goodness I read the previous reviews about being hard to get over the hips, and the advice to move up a size. That is the only reason I took away one star. I bought the pale grey and blue color. The blue was just a tad easier to wiggle into than the grey but once on, both shorts are very comfortable. I love the light weight material for those hot humid days and I love how they look on me.

Tropic comfort shorts size large
Beautiful shorts but waist has no stretch. Hips were to wide. Couldn't pull over hips. This doesn't usually happen.
