Great, versatile sun shirt
Bought this at the Freeport, ME flagship store during a vacation to Maine, specifically for the UPF, as I've been looking for a lightweight, long sleeve, hooded shirt to protect from the sun while outdoors. Have had it for a little over 3 weeks now and used it heavily in Acadia National Park, at our lake house, and out in Jackson Hole, WY for numerous hikes in the Tetons at higher elevation where the UV rays are more intense than the Midwest where I live. This shirt has been great, and has provided excellent protection from the sun while still being pretty comfortable even in sunny, warm/hot conditions. It is not the most lightweight UPF shirt out there, but it's study, soft, and very comfortable, and unless you're doing vigorous activity in 75-80+ degree weather, it should be fairly comfortable. I wore it on the boat on the lake in 90 degree and humid temperatures and it was hot, but not unbearable. Similarly, I wore it on several hikes in Jackson Hole that covered several thousand feet of elevation in 5-8 miles, with dry, sunny temps in the 60s-70s, and it was very comfortable, even while wearing a daypack loaded with 2-3L of water.
Pros: Soft, not too tight, very comfortable, dries quickly, great sun protection, hood makes it more versatile
Cons: Not the most lightweight, still gets very hot in extreme conditions (temps above 80 degrees and/or dew point above 70 degrees with high humidity)
Overall: Excellent shirt, would highly recommend, very versatile.

Great protection...
I purchased this hoodie for my husband who is on meds for an autoimmune disease; he must stay out of the sun. He really likes the hoodie because it protects him but is very light and not cumbersome.

Great material, not a fan of pocket
The material this shirt is made out of perfect - I'll be returning it for a different hooded sun shirt from LL Bean without the front pocket. The light material makes this pocket absolutely worthless, if you put anything heavier than paper in it (phone, keys, wallet, even my airpod case) it sags and looks terrible.
Additionally, I'm 6'2" with "normal" torso/leg proportions, i find the tall size to be too long for me.
