No liner, runs small
Arrived today. It was very nice looking but once I got it unbuttoned and unzipped and noticed it was not lined, I wasn't happy. Then I put it on and tried to zip it up which was a huge pain, and once zipped, it was clearly too small (I had a hoodie on under it). I could barely move my arms forward. Returned.

Impressive Wool & Details
In the age of fast fashion, I was expecting flimsy wool and thin buttons and zipper, but this was far and away in another class of garments. Very sturdy and unusually soft for new wool, larger/sturdier brass zipper, big buttons, big front pockets for cold hands and mittens, detailed hood and sleeves and tailored arms. Perfect!

Love the plaid
I think this jacket runs small and was disappointed the sleeves weren’t lined. I do love the print.

Disappointed
This was returned. The coat was bulky in an unflattering way on me. It felt uncomfortable and stiff.

Narrow Shoulders
I really wanted to like this jacket (there's a lot to like) but the shoulders are quite narrow and I have pretty narrow shoulders so I think that's saying a lot. Sadly it was returned.

Mad about my Plaid Coat!
I'm just loving my new coat! It fits very well, and is quite warm even in lower temps into the teens. Because it's brand new, the fabric is a little stiff, but I imagine it will soften up over time. I wish it had a lining, even if it doesn't add to warmth, as it sometimes pulls against certain clothes. I also wish the hood was removable. However, neither of these "wishes" detract from the coat. I would definitely buy this again.

Lots to like about this coat
My husband bought me the green plaid version of this coat, in size M Reg. I am 5'5" and 132 lb. It fits well. Not being lined, it's not real warm on a windy, cold day, but I wear a wool sweater or fleece under it and it's warm enough. The cut is very flattering, and I've received several compliments. The big pockets are great for gloves, cell phone, and keys, and the sleeves are narrow enough at the wrists for me to slide my hands and sleeve ends into the pockets, to keep my hands really warm on a cold walk. I like the big buttons, which are in just the right places, and find myself using them more than the big full-length zipper, which is a bit hard to get started. The hood is perfect, and the high neckline keeps my neck warm.
