Ditch the umbrella for the perfect raincoat!
Perfect lightweight raincoat for Alaskan trip. Ordered a size up, so I could layer underneath as it is fitted. Still looked very stylish. If not layering your normal size would fit perfectly. Love the longer length to keep legs dry. Add a brimmed hat under hood. No umbrella needed!

Nice but didn't work for me.
Nice look and quality seems to be good. Didn't test it in the rain however. Sleeves waaaay too long, to the end of my fingertips!! Also decided after trying on that I prefer a longer rain coat to keep midi dresses and pant bottoms dry.

Doesn't Fit Like My Previous Raincoat
I was very disappointed in the fit of this raincoat. I typically take a Regular Medium or a Large Petite. First, I tried the M and it was snug in the waist. The LP was too big overall, especially in the shoulders.

Performs well, please add more colors.
So far, so good. I wore it in a downpour and it kept me dry, which is exactly what I wanted. I consider a rain jacket practically useless when it’s raining hard, and it’s hard to find a knee-length coat like this, so I’m happy LL Bean offers it. The only reason I gave it four stars is that there’s no color selection—just black and navy. A warmer-weather raincoat should come in some nicer colors.

Zipper issues
I've had this coat for a year. I love the length, coverage, hood, and longer sleeve length for my long arms. It also keeps the rain from penetrating thru.
The zipper has become difficult to line up at the bottom. *Sigh* Really? A $100+ coat that has zipper issues within a year? I also don't care for the velcro holding the zipper flap closed. Most of the time, it just gets caught on the mesh lining that you then have to rip apart. Snaps would have been much better.
