Fully gusseted tongue boot
This is my first boot from LLBean. It's a lovely and well made boot but I have not really worn yet. I did tried on, but not easy to get on/off due to the fully gusseted tongue. That's why I gave it three stars

A winner!
Nancy (agent) was a tremendous help when ordering this boot. She was able to refer back to a previous order I had placed and with that information, we were able to select the best size in this model. The boots fit very well and were on sale! I go through a pair of Bean Boots almost every year (they are perfect for working in a barn) and I appreciate the continued quality and service.

Great boots
I love the look and the quality of these boots. I have had several pairs of the moccasin style bean boots, and I wanted a boot to protect my ankles. Sadly, I am returning these because the tongue is sewn all the way up and I could not get my foot into these. (I wear a 6 but I have a high instep so they won't work for me. I will probably try the Chelsea boot. Really great boots but not for me.

Brave the rain in style!
I absolutely adore these boots! They are my new almost everyday wear shoes for Fall, some Winter, and Spring. Thank you L.L Bean for continuing to offer high quality shoes for reasonable prices. I’ve been a customer since I was 15 years old! That’s a lonnnnngggg time.

Sizing is totally off
Have used bean hiking boots for 40 years. They have always been the right fit at size 8. I ordered these at size 8, much too large, exchanged for a 7.5, too large, then size 7 ended up being too cramped!
