Perfect for Winter Hiking
I'm a woman who has to buy men's clothes for outdoor activities because men's sizes are more consistent and there is more quality. Women's clothes lack the necessary quality and features I am looking for. The designers seem more interested in colors and fashion than making something which works well. Unfortunately I wish I could have gotten a waist 29 but at least there are belt loops on these pants. There are also ample, zippered pockets. Proper pockets are frequently a missing item in women's sport clothes.
I wanted these for winter hiking since they are fleece lined. Because the pants are loose, they also don't get as hot with exertion.

Love them
I was looking for some outer wear that I could use when I'm snow blowing this winter. These pants were the perfect thing for me, they are warm and comfortable. I used them in this last storm we had ( approx) 18 inches and themperture was around 10 degrees. I would recommend this to anyone.

Best hiking pants I've ever owned
I can't recommend these pants more highly. They are great for cold outdoor activity-- just the right amount of warmth, not too hot. They fit, not too binding and not too baggy.

Not Very Warm
I've just worn these on 3 cold Vermont days and was not impressed by them as lined pants. They don't block the wind; the nylon adds to the chilly nature of the pants. Fit is good with decent pockets. Not sure what temperature range Bean meant for these. Going back to lined denim.
