Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. I like the shirt very much. It did come missing a front button, but rather than returning it I sewed one of the extra buttons in its place.

Great chamois
Hubby likes! Replaces an older one, this is nicer color and softer, although it does seem a bit thinner. Sign of the times I guess. Best thing about bean flannels is that dont wrinkle where you button 'em!

Decent shirt, its just too big.
I loved the material it was super soft and the best thing about the shirt.
The overall color and style was great too, but the bottom of these shirts flair out way too much. It felt like I was wearing a dress.
I'm 6'5", 250lbs and a size Large was big enough that I wanted to try a Medium instead.
