This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Nice shirt but hit or miss quality control
This is a nice shirt overall. The sleeves always shrink after the first wash with LL Bean flannels, so they always land above my wrist. If you’re tall keep that in mind. The quality isn’t what it used to be. The other pattern of this that I bought had a pull in the fabric across the front, so I don’t wear it. That one makes it look like a used thrifted shirt. I do wish there were more colors available and my size wasn’t sold out in some of them.

This shirt doesn’t feel quite as substantial as my older ones. Also shrank a bit in the laundry. So not quite the quality I’ve come to expect from LLBean.
