Introduced as Bean's Ice Carrier way back in 1944, the Boat and Tote was billed as a bag made of builders' canvas for hauling ice "from car to ice chest." Today you can spot our iconic tote doing heavy lifting everywhere - from the grocery store to the beach, to the library and commuter train. Tested to hold up to 500 pounds, it'll carry more than you can carry. We promise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking forward to 20 years of hauling Excellent construction. My parents have some of these from 20 years ago, and I fully expect to have mine for 20 years. Stands up on its own. Hauls EVERYTHING. The Large ended up being bigger than I wanted, and not able to replace an everyday tote my fiance has been using. But it has already become our new favorite laundry hauler. Will just have to get another smaller one!
